I am proud to announce that <Lost in Progression> is still looking for a few brave souls to embark on the great adventure that is EverQuest Progression! Since the spires all across Norrath have become active, we here at <Lost in Progression> have been on the warpath and will not stop till the fat gnome sings!

I am pleased to announce that<Lost in Progression>will be hosting a special night every Tuesday called.....Throwback Tuesday! WithLuclinera content not being very "group" friendly, we have decided to hold an open invention group night!
Already have a low to mid level toon onTrakanon? Want to make a level 1 and gain experience the fun way with 5 other people? Then come on out!
Goal- To get as many non-merc groups going as we can while we gain experience in one of the bestEverQuestera's..Classic! WithEverQuestbeing a social game, we want to try and "recapture" those fun times we have all had!
Where and When- Every Tuesday, hop on theTrakanonserver around 8pm est and join the channel LiP:BillMurray.
Guidelines- We only ask that you try and keep the gear and zones as close to Classic as you can.
Do I have to join <Lost in Progression> to take part in this?- Not at all! We are just looking for fellow adventurers to group and experience in Classic EverQuest

<Lost in Progression> has been very busy lately! As you may have heard Emperor Ssraeshza has been defeated as well as Aten Ha Ra and we are now honing our skills and checking off the last things on our list. We are having a blast gearing our new members in Velious and reliving our epic fight days in Kunark. With Planes of Power on the horizon, excitement is growing everyday! Don't just take it from me, here's a quote from one of our members:
"I too and recently back to EverQuest after a long break. Something about the game always seems to draw me back to it. The community of people in EQ in my opinion is the best. No other MMO have I met as many great people to play with.

"Lost in Progression has been incredible. Since I left EQ 9 years ago I always found myself wanting to come back but never wanted to because the game was going to be so different. The opportunity to join a guild focused on era's of content I remember and love was beyond belief. I downloaded EQ right away and got right too it. I couldn't stop playing once I started and its thanks to the members, leadership, and friendship I've received since joining this wonderful group.

I would say 40 on the low end, sometimes up to 50. We are having a great time raiding and even just hanging out. I suspect the numbers to stay on the higher end when Planes of Power opens, I know it is an expansion a lot of people are looking forward to.

Instead of the normal quote inserted here I will share a few of my thoughts about our guild. Next week will mark eight months for Lost in Progression. I remember the first day with such fondness. I was so excited to be in the zones from so long ago with five other actual people! We had such a great time and one of the officers ran over to buff us and hand out some goodies, it was the experience I thought was gone forever. On the raid last night in VT I looked around at those same people and many new ones with such a sense of pride. Through trial and tribulation we have grown so much, I cannot wait to see what the future brings. I am proud to call these people my guild mates and my friends. Although you won't find us in Greater Faydark much anymore, if you joined I can almost promise you will see an officer coming to buff you and hand out some goodies.
We are now in Planes of Power but still slaughtering the tough encounters of Luclin. Now is a great time to join before we fully break in to PoP. We currently need:

As we get further into progression we want to ensure that we are having fun with and spending time with new recruits. Our clever members are currently throwing around some ideas to make sure that everyone in <Lost in Progression> feels like a member of the family.
The ever popular Throwback Tuesday could be making an appearance as well as other fun old school events, similar to the ones GM's used to host back in the day.
On the raiding front, things couldn't be better! We are moving along in PoP and having a great time implementing strategies and skill building. We could always use more clerics and shamans , but we never turn anyone away.

As of this week we have reached the Elemental Planes! This is quite an exciting time for us, as we have worked so hard to get to this point. Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun, bonus points if you play a Shaman or a Bard.
We are getting along in levels and expansions and we understand that for those interested in reaching max level and raiding it is becoming a little difficult to play catch up. We have encouraged our members to join our guild channel, LiP:BillMurray and welcome you to create a character and do the same. Here you will be able to ask questions about the guild, get a feel for the members , or just chat while leveling outside of the rules of our guild. Of course we would rather everyone join at level 1 but we understand that PoP is a much loved expansion and some people want to jump right in!

About the Gnome known as Videri:
Back in 2002-2003, I only saw a tiny portion of the vast world of Norrath. Now, thanks to Lost in Progression (and a cheap, used gaming PC), I am experiencing this inexplicably endearing game to the fullest.
I play EverQuest because I enjoy overcoming challenges. The greater the difficulty, the greater the satisfaction in overcoming it. The challenges of raiding, grouping, soloing, and questing require me to be at my best, using my real-life creativity to combine spells, abilities, items, and techniques.
I could play progression-style on my own, but I have a feeling it would get old quickly. "Happiness is only real when shared." I'm really glad to be sharing it with this guild!
About LiP
I believe there are two main reasons the guild is doing well and continuing to move forward together. The first is excellent leadership. The officers know the game deeply and are leading us through it at a good pace: slow enough to really experience each expansion, but fast enough to be exciting. They set sensible rules, always with an eye to the strength and sustainability of the guild. These people really have their heads in the game, and I appreciate it.
The other reason this guild is strong is that we have a good group of players. I don't mean class balance - though we seem to be pretty well-off in that regard (one can always wish for more healers) - but I mean we have a harmonious group of people. Hardcore raiders, casual folks, funny people, serious people, people with knowledge of various areas of the game, DKP and tech wizards, tradeskill chasers, and weirdos like me, all working together to succeed AND keep it fun. True respect and friendships have formed between these people, strengthening the guild. Plus, we're considerate of each other and of other players. That's huge!
That's why I appreciate my time with <Lost in Progression> and recommend it to any who may want to experience this.
