They actually said "a new take" when describing the Wolverine game. That is a huge red flag.
I get it. I do. Technically the first Spiderman was advertised somewhat similarly.

I based my thoughts on the delay, the silence (could be bad of course), and how rapidly they abandoned Spiderman 2 which did not even come close to selling what the first one did. You might be too far out to fully fix the character graphics but I bet you can fix a lot in 6 months.

I hope you're right!

Is the new pve mode also available during the free to play week starting June 2?

Turns out the answer to this is... kind of. They're gonna have the "PVP lite" experimental queue on the free week. One team loads into the new night map alone, with late spawns of solo scavs. No one can leave until the timer is up and one exit pops up. Details here.

Straight PVE only mode coming in second half of season.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but here's a bad idea.

There are pros and cons to the "Warframe model" where you continuously update a game forever. I think that might make sense for the Destiny model, with the lower player count - why split the playerbases between two games? Why spin down projects, spin up projects...

Put some of those blue hairs to use writing player guides and introducing new gameplay mechanics. Look at all of the shit that No Man's Sky has added - imagine if somewhere in there, before the turn around, they tried to launch NMS 2 and fractured the playerbase?

Like... why NOT have all of the shit that Destiny 1 and 2 has combined into one game? For the D3 size university of players that play these things.

Because 90% of the place is filled to the rim with mouth breathing retards.

The other 10% are busy looking for new jobs where they can go back to making good games leveraging this thing called common sense.
