Utnayan is right. I loved Destiny for what it was at the core originally, but so many mistakes and half-assed expansions from Bungie doomed Destiny. 1 step forward and 3 steps back pretty much every.single.time year after year. If Destiny 3 ever sees the light of day it needs to be more like Borderlands as a self-contained open world with no stupid GaaS crap or grinding for the sake of daily log in number chasing. It has the lore and world building all set up on a tee, just give us cool stuff to explore, lots of loot to find, a good cohesive storyline, and solo/small group stuff and it will sell like crazy. Heck, I'd be thrilled if they leaned into the RPG aspects a lot more and made it a true RPG looter shooter. But now with Bungie being disbanded outside of Marathon devs (which will also soon be dissolved), I don't know where this goes and if we will ever even get another Bungie shooter.
