Weekend Stress Test was just over. I forgot until Sat night and then played a Melee hero (Hulk). It was fun but slow. My wife was out of time and I couldn't play much, so only got to level 40. Meanwhile, the last 30 min a guy came in and said, just buy boosters you can level to 60 in like 30 min. I did go from 30 to 40 but they shut the servers down 15 min early and didn't make 60.
Tons of fun, can't wait until they turn it back on full time. Think I am going to start with Scarlett witch or Phoenix. Melee heroes fun but so slow in comparison. At launch my first hero was Thor. Dark Horse I loved Gambit and sad there is no mechanism to buy? them all.

It was my son's birthday party on Saturday so was pretty busy, I was gonna hop on Sunday evening but I was a few minutes too late lol. The rewards aren't huge anyways, a couple hours worth of playing I think? Technically it's best to start with cyclops I believe for the 10% extra xp for future characters, but just getting your first 4 to 60 will give you a 75% xp boost to all future characters (don't quote me on those exact numbers) so it's not that big a deal. If I don't do cyclops first I'll probably do Nova or Scarlet Witch.

I remember being absolutely in love with any hero who had a bouncing basic when it came to ease of leveling and iirc Cyclops got his the earliest.
Yeah I started doing the same after reading this and some of the questions I was asking when I first started playing sound completely retarded, but all got answered like they were perfectly normal things to ask. I didn't get as far as the post you're referencing but in retrospect it's hilarious to imagine myself acting jealous (whether sincere or just being funny) over a single high rolled or even perfect SWGN when I quit with dozens of near-perfect GotKs and SWGNs and whatever other end-game artifacts there were.
Goddamn nostalgia maybe I will give this shit a try after all.

From what I read in discord or somewhere, you can run the boosters all the time and your eternity splinters will still keep going up.
