Like this won't be good at all, the story behind it getting made will be pretty amazing when the insiders leak it out. This shit was shot in 2022 and was when Disney was doing the "movie as a season" thing which was awful. If this is better then Secret Invasion they should take that win and run but I expect this will flat disappoint everyone.

Pretty funny the suit is white. Maybe the final effects aren't done but I just found that kind of ironic considering the message and the main character.

God damn that just reinforces more of me not watching any of the new stuff marvel Disney is putting out.

One of my biggest gripes with marvel lately, and I dunno how this was handled in the actual comics, is the constant 1up'ing of established characters. Oh, you like Captain America? The one who you got a whole movie where you understood his background, motivations, and the how much of a struggle it was to get his super hero serum and understand how limited that serum is? Well here's Black Panther, he has access to a tree with fruit that's better than Caps serum.

Oh, you like Iron Man? The guy who was raised by a tech genius, went to several universities, had years developing weapons and through personal growth became a hero he never thought he'd be? Well here's Black Panthers little sister. They found a cave with alien shit and now she can make even better weapons and let's Tony borrow her nano tech.

Oh, you like the Hulk? Where after 2 less than great movies explain how by some miracle he survived an explosion and gained crazy strength and regeneration? Well, we made an even better super serum. And this evil lady spent an afternoon training him and now he can fly and turn bullets into dust.

They spent what, 10 movies developing Thanos?

/Rant off

The way I see it right now, and this is probably my most optimistic take on it, is that right now everything is just re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic while they desperately try to find a way to reboot/rebuild/recreate/recast the whole MCU, and that SHOULD happen in Secret Wars, since that's a lot of what Secret Wars was for in the comics in the Marvel Universe.

Which means everything until Secret Wars will be disjointed crap on a cracker. And then we HOPE they figure their shit out.

I think they've cherry picked the best, I never got into secret wars too mch but Thanos was one of the best, I really liked planet hulk comics but Ragnarok didn't do it justice.

Im going to be hated on but I didn't care about End game or infinity war outside of doing fan service. I can watch civil war/ winter soldier all the time. Infinity was ok but endgame sucked imo

They should have had The Hulk do insane amounts of damage in Infinity War then do Planet Hulk and ended with World War Hulk. He could kill off most of the Avengers and die. Then have a proper reset.

I think most people were disappointed with end game. The time travel trope to fix everything has always been retarded. It's what killed the OG superman franchise for me. It's just a lazy shitty way to resolve conflicts.

As the old adage goes, the opposite of love isn't hate - it 's complete disinterest.

Many of us (probably more than the general audience, given our more-comics-than-average backgrounds) did 'love' the MCU, and would like to see it pull out of its tailspin, while we also acknowledge that at this point they probably can't fix their issues without ripping the building down to the studs, if not the foundation, via a near-complete reboot.

Again, I am convinced all the recent PR fluff pieces of 'Disney says Disney ruined the MCU!' are PR groundwork for Marvel to restart itself. The problem being that Feige was always theoretically in charge, and definitely was when they decided to copy the source comics disastrous 'Replace everyone with non white guy equivalents with no actual personalities of their own" era, and furthermore was forcibly pulled back from non-MCU activities years ago. (Remember when he was going to make a Star Wars movie and save that franchise? The ironing is delicious.)

The problem being that even in those intervening years, the successes had nothing to do with Feige (Deadpool), while the rest of the lineup was mediocre at best (Thunderbolts). We really think throwing even in more characters with an even shorter timeline (Doomsday) is going to come out any better?

It's odd everyone says the DisneyMCU ended with endgame. I don't know anyone that really liked endgame. Infinity had the big cliff hanger at the time but it's still not great after everything is said and done

Feige has to go if they want to make the MCU work again. Just like Kennedy and Star Wars.

I don't disagree with your opinion of End Game. I really enjoyed it as the conclusion to the entire Thanos situation, but as a movie, it was far less impressive than Infinity War. I've only ever watched that movie twice. Once in theaters, and once on blu-ray. But I've seen Infinity War 4-5 already.
