Nerdrotic has an entire ecosystem of other blogger/vlogger/whatevers, including a couple women. They do this show called "Friday Night Tights", and it's big enough and has enough fans that they are apparently now doing in person meetups. If their reporting on it is accurate, they're getting around 400 people for each live FNT show they do.

I know this because the Friday Night Tights podcast is on the usual youtube autoplay hole that ends up on in the background on many days in the other room at my house courtesy of the wife.
Okay. I don't think I'm his target audience. I don't necessarily need to know the cutting edge of Marvel or Star Wars or whatever. Hey, to each their own. If people want to watch complete shit and then consume commentary and media about said shit, it's a free country sort of, just not my cup of tea.

Yeah, I will hear something interesting come across it in the background every now and again. But it's mostly deep nerdery/geekery for very comic and gaming centric folks.

boxofficetheory predicting $67-70M+ opening for Thunderbolts, while boxofficepro is still at $75M – $85M.

this spoils a bunch, even outside of its own movie
Mid-Credit
Red Guardian attempting to convince a woman in the cereal aisle at the grocery store to buy a box of Wheaties with the team on it (this appears to be the payoff to a running gag). However, while she takes the box, she sets it down at the end of the aisle and hurries away.

post-credits
the heroes are in their new HQ - 14 months later - discussing the fact Sam Wilson is suing them for calling themselves "The Avengers." Red Guardian comes up with some new monikers, explaining the movie's asterisk, in the process (one suggestion is "New Avengerz," with a z).

Bob dismisses the notion of becoming The Sentry again for fear of unleashing The Void, and with that, they see a ship has entered their atmosphere: it's the Fantastic Four, something that's confirmed by the "4" logo on the side and the team's MCU theme!

I'm going on Friday, because that's the first day my local Regal is doing a 3D showing. I stopped reading that thread a while ago, and only ever watched the first trailer. I'll read it again after I've watched the movie.

I figure I have a certain number of reviewers who seem to align with my tastes/takes. I'll give it opening weekend and see what they say. If I go see Thunderbolts it will be the first Marvel movie I've seen (in any form) since Spiderman: No Way Home.

Didn't he flip an ATV, or I guess they call them side by sides now, and it fell on him and almost kill him?

I figured he was retired after surviving that.

probably just means the show was gonna be 90% about kate bishop and hawkeye would only appear in a few scenes. makes sense, hawkeye is not gonna be in anything MCU past secret wars while Bishop will likely be part of Young Avengers, but it makes no real sense to make a Hawkeye season 2 since its not gonna drive subs to D+ (the only thing they care about) and leave movie viewers with a "do I need to watch Hawkeye before I watch Young Avengers 2028 movie?" which is a big problem for Disney and live action shows.

the only D+ shows marvel and star wars should have are animated shows for kids. live action stuff should be movies only, and D+ the "digital library" way to access it for non pirates. Its the only strategy that maximizes spend and revenue. Live action TV shows create a mess for casual viewers, "I didn't watch the latest movie because I didn't watch the 2 TV shows about the characters".
