Does anyone really care any more? Renner is the worst Avenger. Literally the dollar store Avenger. He makes Captain Blackie look important. Bringing him back will be par for the course lately. A big nothingburger.

Hawkeye S1 is a great Christmas watch. Its fun, funny, good cast chemistry and Tony Dalton. Yea Kingpin was uneven, I dont think they gave D'onofrio enough direction if to be Netflix Kingpin or like not, but where he was just being a menacing dude it worked.

But yea they want to do Young Avengers in some capacity before Secret War's, but they are running out of time on that quickly, Cassie Lang's actress is like 28 lol

Hawkeye is my favorite D+ show...I watch it every Christmas and would love a Season 2 (if done just as well, obviously). I also liked Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow (Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow (Video 2008) 6.2 | Animation, Action, Adventure), so if Young Avengers was done in a similar vein, I'd be on board for that, as well.

My wishlist for Marvel about 10 years ago was Planet Hulk (which they ruined by throwing it in as a side story in Ragnarok), Young Avengers, and getting a full-powered Rogue that puts Captain Marvel in a coma. I also wouldn't mind if they did the All-New X-Men storyline since they're playing with time travel and alternate realities now, but I'm not sure you can tell that story well in one 2.5 hour movie.

I was hoping Fantastic Four would get things back on track, but the casting and story leaks have me not even sure if I'll watch it in theaters at this point.

rt removed the franchise tag listings, so only thing i see is few editorial rankings of shows without a date, anyway currently above echo and below defenders.

wonder if they are considering selling spidey and friends back to disney, i have to imagine part of their contract is if they don't use the characters in movies they lose them

iirc, they have to release something every 5 years. venom last dance was still sony's biggest movie in terms of worldwide box office of 2024 and 3rd in the US. sony says the made money off morbius in the end. the rumor of them selling the rights back to disney come up every so often, but only time i thought it might happen was when it also tied to rumor of them wanting to buy DC.
