Yeah, Jackson is 77 right now, and his 'action' was already very questionable when Captain Marvel was filmed a decade ago. (He's also been putting out more political takes in an era where Marvel doesn't want to scare off any money it doesn't have to.)
I can already see the internet outrage of "First they took Captain America 'from' the blacks, now they're taking Nick Fury!", however.

sure, though Jeffrey Dean Morgan is also already 60 now, maybe 61-63 by the time this would really get going? Not saying he'd not be a good cast now, but maybe also a bit old if you'd wanna have him do that role for 10-15 years as well?
