I remember some kid having that God damn toy and it really did stink.
I do remember watching some documentary I think on Netflix talking about the he-man toys and how they came into being along with the cartoon and everything. It was pretty good if I remember.

I get the jadedness of wokeness and identity politics; but I chuckled at the He/Him.. and while the whole master at arms being black is weird; I like Idris enough, and the fact they kept the porn stash was really my only requirement.
I recently watched the 80's cartoon, within the last 5 years.. and I am pretty stoked for this. Only thing that is seemingly a deathknell to me is Jared Leto.. no kackle or voicelines, but Skeletor looked great. I'm really hoping that the Skeletor thing, is it's really a Juggernaut//Sweettooth thing and that Jared Leto is really only in flashbacks as Keldor.. seems he is mostly CGI'd in, and they could have easily brought in Hamil or something for VA. The sorta weird elements of motu being present gives me hope. I wish we got a more toy accurate buff, like can't stratch their back or clasp their hands buff... but i'd be lying if I hope this bring a more comic accurate gijoe to the screen.. as I was a gijoe kid and my best friend was a motu kid.
Seeing the Collector was instant hype
