I remember some kid having that God damn toy and it really did stink.
I do remember watching some documentary I think on Netflix talking about the he-man toys and how they came into being along with the cartoon and everything. It was pretty good if I remember.

I get the jadedness of wokeness and identity politics; but I chuckled at the He/Him.. and while the whole master at arms being black is weird; I like Idris enough, and the fact they kept the porn stash was really my only requirement.
I recently watched the 80's cartoon, within the last 5 years.. and I am pretty stoked for this. Only thing that is seemingly a deathknell to me is Jared Leto.. no kackle or voicelines, but Skeletor looked great. I'm really hoping that the Skeletor thing, is it's really a Juggernaut//Sweettooth thing and that Jared Leto is really only in flashbacks as Keldor.. seems he is mostly CGI'd in, and they could have easily brought in Hamil or something for VA. The sorta weird elements of motu being present gives me hope. I wish we got a more toy accurate buff, like can't stratch their back or clasp their hands buff... but i'd be lying if I hope this bring a more comic/toy accurate gijoe to the screen.. as I was a gijoe kid and my best friend was a motu kid.
Seeing the Collector was instant hype

I remember that magnificent film The Dark Tower where Idris Elba played Roland of Gilead, with the blue bombardier eyes, and he looked like Clint Eastwood. It was an amazing casting choice, and one of his finest roles ever.

Never seen it, but I'm sure it is as magnificent as you say.
I don't mean to say this film will be a master piece, but it might be the best motu we'll ever get; which isn't saying much. That bar is low, and just hoping for "fun." I'm optimistic but Jared Leto just seems like a splinter in the whole thing.

I don't know the whole he she thing in the beginning and him being made effeminate.
What's even more screwed up is I tried to talk to text effeminate, and it will not translate whatsoever via this platform. I went to Google to go see if I was just mispronouncing something and on the first go that popped right up.
This movie is going to blow.
