I can't wait until this ugly chick gets too old to play porn stars/strippers/whores in all the movies that could have had better looking women in them.

To be fair, I don't hate her as an actress. I just don't find her even remotely interesting to watch in these roles where I'd want a smoking hot babe instead.

this one is a direct sequel to X. x featured an elderly Pearl, and maxine is the sole survivor. maxine was the star of the prono's they were filming at pearls house.
while Pearl was a prequel to X. pearl featured pearl when she was young.

This actually looks interesting, and A24 seems to have a pretty decent track record. Normally when I see their logo that's at least something I'll at least give a chance.

I haven't seen X or Pearl, are they any good?

Yeah I’m pretty much in for whatever A24 drops, even stuff outside of my typical genre. They released a trailer for something else the other day called Janet Planet which looks fine. Everyone loves movies about retards.

I’ll give Ti West a shot here. Haven’t seen all his stuff but what I have watched works for me.

Pearl and X are worth watching, they used to be on netflix but dunno now. X takes place like in the 1920s (?) and is pretty good, Pearl takes place in the 1970s and shares some characters from X. Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) is in Pearl too. This movie follows Pearl story/continuity wise.

The main star is the same in all of them, Mia Goth and her, Anya Taylor Joy, Zendaya, and Jenna Ortega are super hot among da keedz. Her face is pretty weird looking to me but whatever

Rewatching X right now but never saw Pearl.

Goth, I remember her from The Survivalist. That's a pretty fucked up post apocalypse independent film. Worth a watch.

I do think Joy is probably one of the best actresses out there now. I guess typically when I see her it's a decent enough movie, and maybe she's getting big enough to where she can pick and choose. The last film I saw in was The Menu, and I really enjoyed it. The Witch though is still my favorite shoes been in.

Forgot that she was also in the Last Night in Soho, and that was a pretty good movie despite some of pacing.

I like Anya Taylor-Joy too, but you're forgetting her epic performance in New Mutants!

To be fair, even with her terrible accent she still might have been the best thing about that movie.

She kind of looks slightly alien to me, but I still would in a heartbeat.

I never saw that movie because it looked like shit. She was pretty good looking in Last Night in Soho though. Definitely has a unique appearance / beauty compared to most celebrity women.
