If all of social science believes that it should invest heavily in an unquantifiable fantasy that is not falsifiable, does that in any way justify that theory?

Even if every social theorist on planet Earth signs an oath to live by Marx's teachings 100% to the max forever, does that in any way validate Marx's theories? Of course not.
If all the social scientists in the world get together tomorrow and decide the Earth is 6000 years old and mankind was placed here by Xenu, would that validate Scientology?
Let me just say, if all of the social sciences are in agreement with Dumar's position, god help us all.
Luckily, its not the case. Marx is a framework, but not a religious dogma for the vast majority in actual academia.

If every academic in the world said Mao wasn't communist, they'd still be wrong, because Mao himself presented himself as such, and thus must be taken at face value that he was, in fact, what he said he was. This isn't like a doctorate where you have to earn it and be awarded it. If you say you're a communist, lead a communist revolution and a communist nation and write entire fucking bibles worth of treatises on communist theory and ideas, you're a communist.
Its really that simple. His actions, his writings, his leadership, his choices, its all in accordance with his ideological framwork, which he labeled as Marxist and Leninist in framework. I don't care where you're from, y'all is superior to you guys. I did have a lol at soda = coke though. That still awes me, and I grew up hearing it. When I leave Florida and enter the real south I have to specify that I want coke when I ask for coke.

Like I might say to the wife "WIll you go get me a soda?" instead of "Will you go get me a coke?" or I might ask my kids "You want soda or what?"
But if I'm at a restaurant and I want a soda, I tend to order coke, and then get disappointed when they say "We only have Pepsi, is that okay?"
No bitch, its not. Pepsi is some watered down bullshit.
