is it because you think we're too smart to fall for your typical, communist sleight of hand arguments?

How will that make you more famous, Mikhail? What is brilliance if you don't get recognition? Rock the microphone!

Fine I'll give in to your demands of you explain how communism is the best form of society and how it can actually be implemented.

For one no country that has claimed to be communist has truly been communist or even close to what a communist society would resemble. That is no one entity be it corporate, state, or individual would hold explicit claim to the production of anything, be it assests, technology etc...as these would all be "owned" by the society. This wasn't achieved in any of the "communist" countries.

Communist countries that have existed also fail at allowing the people of that society to be anything they please at any time. This would eliminate stratification of society and help decease the exploitation of individuals by others. It can be argued that this has been achieved to a greater extent through Capitalism than the "communism" of today.

Sounds all fine and dandy. People can do as they can please and everything is owned by the people, that is the meams by which goods and services are produced. Given human nature though a system like that can not be achieved as evident by all the self proclaimed communist countries. The consoledation of power is so great in these and former countries Marx would shit his pants so hard his intestines would fall out.

Like I said earlier a society that models Communism may be possible in the future after great technological advances, and more graduay shifts towards socialism in a greater number of nations, but for the forseebale future, it doesnt work.

This is a commonly held, but totally wrong notion of socialism. Ownership by "society" (whatever that is supposed to mean) has nothing to do with it.

As for the owned by society I always took it to mean one entity couldn't own aeams of generating a good/service and thus be able to exploit people through it.

So long as capital relations aren't being enforced, it passes the standard of socialism. That standard allows for lots of possible configurations of workplaces, but they all have worker control as a necessary feature.

How can you say that? It lasted for 3 years. How is their economy better than a capitalistic one? How is currency which a common denominator allowing you to convert between anything worse?

The Ukrainian Free Territory probably isn't a good example as it was allied with former tsarists aka the bourgeousie to fight against Bolsheviks and the Red Army.

As a matter of fact, it seems like it was just loose organization of settlements, operating in some sort of quasi-anarchy

I have a feeling its the same with the Catalonia example.
