I don't know what the other services are like, but I work closely with active duty Navy, and a huge majority of them are shaped like Eric Cartman, and will absolutely wait 5 minutes for an elevator in a 2 story building. Then after 4 years of low effort 'service' they are all somehow 100% disabled.

Reminds me of a joint base I was at for awhile. It was mostly Army, Marines, and Air Force for whatever reason. Myself in the Army and the Marines around the base just walked everywhere. The Air Force guys would not move more than 50 feet without using these oversized golf carts. They had dozens of them. These might be too big but they definitely seated six people at least.

The amount of lardos the AF had was stunning in comparison to us lol.

It's wild the B-52s were built over a decade before the Harriers and they'll probably be flying until the year 3000.

RIP Harriers.

B52s still flying is more of a reflection of how awful military procurement and leadershi is than it being an effective platform.

Did a jump jet hangar in Cherry Point back in the day, seeing a plane stop mid air was mind breaking. Then you just sort of get used to it. What are the Marines going to replace them with? All Havelock(?) was as a town was that base.
