Current gunpla progress. Ran out of the good clear coats and the one I use now take ages to dry.

The red parts were more orangey but the gloss made it red. Hope it reverts once I dull coat.

Khalan really good shit man. What did you do for the Plague Marine weapons? I like that effect. I'm doing more of them now.

Do you guys play Warhammer or just in it for the painting/therapy?

Always been kinda sad I live in such a small town in regards to this kind of hobby. No Warhammer or MTG at all exist here.

I start with a dark Metal (I use scale 75 Black Metal), then use a combo of washes to get the effect -> Secret Weapon Armour Wash, Sewer Water, then Algae at the tips for the more green.

I play warhammer pretty competively (well did). I am on team Canada's WTC team for Austria this year although I doubt it happens. Been playing some TTS but to be honest I mostly have always been a bigger painter, but I like to play high level competitive too.

Nice that helps me thank you, I have black metal but I'm thinking i'll use Vallejo metal color gunmetal and see how that looks.

I don't play at all I just like painting the figures.

Ahh I thought your stuff was Warhammer as well. I know nothing about that world but I like the painted figures people post.

I’m working on a commission piece right now, Archaon from Age of sigmar. Here are some wip shots;

Also got a new light for my paint setup! Fucking had to grab a 220v converter for it though since it’s from the Uk.

Out of curiosity what do you charge for a commission of that quality?

Hmm It really depends. This one specifically is for an existing client to add to another project I did previously for them, so I gave them a bit of a discount. I am not a full time commission painter, I have a full time career/job and just do commission work on the side for extra cash, so usually my prices are quite high and I am very selective of my projects. I would imagine a project normally this size might run $5-600 USD.
