I'm glad I went to see it in the theater, fun action set pieces, and probably will go see more movies in DBOX seats. That being said, was the 3rd or 4th best MI movie to me, I probably liked the prior few more than this one. I just watched them all over the past couple weeks, 3 through 6 for the first time.

It's a great enough endcap to the tale of the man with the worlds thickest plot armor. I'm sure we'll see elements of what was left brought into something new at some point.

Good fight scene about to start in the beginning, it's supposedly the last movie in the series so this will be amazing and bloody, even better than Cavill cocking his arms, and they immediately pan away to a woman's face as you hear batman noises in the background: 'Ka-zing! Ka-powie! Ka-blammo!"
Oh sorry, the fight is off-screen, but don't worry, there's another 30 minute wait while we explain 10 plot points and show flashbacks from prior movies you've watched 5 times...

Binge watched 1-7 over the last week. I think I had only seen 1,2,6 before.

- Writing in 8 was abhorrent. Macguffins on top of macguffins and too many coincidences to the point where that becomes a major talking point. "How many times are you going to the risk the world on a lucky chance?"
- I'm glad I'm not alone in hating Haley Atwell.
- Most of the side characters could have been done away with

That said I didn't hate the movie. I saw it in true IMAX and the sense of dread in the underwater set piece and butt-clenching airplace scene were amazingly well shot. And Milchick as the sub commander fucking ruled. I'd watch a spinoff with him and his boat anytime.
