i don't care how bad the pitching is, as long as they win. so far -despite the normal quality pitching wins championships in the playoffs, so far the Red Sox has NOT had quality pitching for the most part, their offense has come through big time though (which means the OTHER team has not gotten quality pitching also).
that leap by Betts was awesome if not for the fans hands, he had that timed perfectly and would have caught that (of course fan interference meant it was an out anyway) it LOOKS-but not definitively-no view down the wall line- in replays that the fan hands were over the wall, thus fan interference, if bett's glove was over the wall, however, that was a home run.

That was a bad call.
Once he passes over the wall, by rule, fan "interference" isn't a thing. That's a bad call, and unfortunate for the Astros. Post game went pretty far into detail about the rule.
Joe West is an absolute shit ump though, and always makes the game about himself.
Boston has such good, high-level contact hitting, and defense. It's completely carrying them games with a shaky, shaky bullpen. SP has been really good as well. Just a really good team, sadly.

the play was so fast it is - without a direct view down the wall-hard to see where the glove was EXACTLY, but the guy in the white shirt -missed the ball and glove- is reaching out over the wall with his right arm and his left hand is grasping the top of the wall and the right hand is essentially even with the glove. this image it LOOKS like the glove MIGHT be in play still. was it, no idea-replay guys in NY thought it was, OUT by fan interference.
