Uh, no. The brain expanding meme is new, and if you aren't up on your memes, it probably isn't nearly as funny as you apparently think it is.

This thread is largely the same people talking about MMA that were talking about MMA a decade ago. They just largely don't agree with an incredibly small subset of the population having bad experiences with wrestlers smooshing each other's faces. That's 100% what occurred in every high school/college wrestling match, especially at the high end. Claiming it is some weird desynchronization of the community is just not realizing that being an outlier just means you're an outlier. Own your outlier-ness; don't try to make it seem like the community at large is massively different and not jiving well.

I was speaking more to happenings outside of the MMA section.

I think we can spare the MMA thread specific examples of this phenomenon, that would be a whole separate thread. I've seen people not recognizing so-called A-list celebrities. Everyone has their own observations and everyone's individual experience will vary. To entirely dismiss it as a whole, or make it personal to me? I don't think so. A large period of formative years have passed, people have grown in different directions. I think that goes without saying.

My point was, if you don't know what something means sometimes its not always worth asking about. Just because it may not be the best example, the point stands. Why ask about what is arguably insignificant junk. If you have to explain a meme to someone, its not funny. I'm off-topic, but so is asking about a meme. Case in point.

Any really good betting opportunities on the card? I will be there with a group of friends and I anticipate a few thousand dollars being dropped at the Sportsbook ahead of time.

Help me get rich.

Bet all your savings that Woodley will complain at some point about being disrespected for not being the favourite

Take it you havent seen the Expanding Brain meme floating around? If you dont find any of them funny I dont know what to tell ya

It isn't funny because it isn't accurate. It's a picture of a FtM transgender being forced to compete against women by some dumbass Texan rules. If it had been a picture of Fallon Fox, it would have been funny.

Yeah, those dumbass rules that don't recognize tranny-syndrome as a legit medical condition! How dare they try to tell her what gender she is! Only stupid thing about the rules is allowing her to compete while being jacked up on testosterone (and roids?). If male fighters can't take testosterone boosters and fight, why should a girl who wishes she was a guy be able to?

I do agree tho, those memes aren't funny. In fact, most memes aren't funny.

Girl transitioned to boy, wanted to complete with the men (this sounds appropriate to me). State of Texas said she must compete with the women as she is a biological female (I suppose this also makes sense, if not for the hormones). Girl who was roided out of her mind because she was transitioning smashes female competition.

So shes legally allowed to take steroids/Hormones because they identify themselves as a male, still fits the meme

Apparently the law was intended to prevent the opposite of what is happening right now. Where a boy wants to transition to a girl, and then compete against girls. As to why she was still allowed to compete while on steroids, apparently since she is being prescribed the steroids by a doctor, it makes it a-okay.

Pretty stupid all around.
