Doesn't really matter for a guy with Jones bone structure. Old Jones was effective with strikes in anything before he became a point fighter.

Prime, hungry, pre picogram/drug addict Jones was the most impressive fighter to ever step into the Octagon. The guy had unreal creativity, and was the shining example of a true flow state in action. He would seamlessly combine strikes while changing angles and stances, totally overwhelming opponents with brutal attacks. And he did it with style.

The elbows he threw standing are still some of the most impressive strikes Ive ever seen. That upward back elbow combined with his knee kick was so fucked up.

Prime Jones timing was miles ahead of Conor.

Rockhold looks like his lungs don't work. He must have a broken nose and/or ribs from those body shots on the ground.

Something must have happend, either before or during the fight. He looked in good shape and cardio doesn't drop THAT badly as you approach 40. It's a shame. I think he legit could have won that if he'd been able to stay more disciplined instead of exploding sloppily every time he had an advantage on Costa.
