I am not saying they don't have bodies at that weight class, they don't have talent. They had 1 star and 1 rising star. If you add in Stipe they had 1 fading star.

Look at all the hype they made up for Cyril, they are desperate for a HW Star.

Agreed, they are struggling a bit with the heavies. That's the case pretty much everywhere it seems. The UFC has a guy that won the contender series and went on to win his UFC debut against Justin Tafa that looks like a toss-up. He's fighting a main event fight against Derrick Lewis on July 12. Tallison Texeira, a 6'7" 263 lb. Brazilian that's 8-0 with 7 wins by KO and 1 by sub all in the first round. I'm not sure what a win against Lewis does because you never know which version of Lewis is going to show up. I think a win over him means less than it used to but with the landscape at heavyweight beating any of the top 10 guys puts you in the title picture so it should be fun.

A super heavyweight division would be borderline a freakshow fight every time. And you could probably see the positive roid tests from space after every fight. It would probably be a nightmare. A lot of people point to monsters like Brian Shaw, etc, and how they would wreck the UFC. Those guys are on ridiculous roid cycles constantly; if there's even remotely reasonable testing it would just be constant overturns due to failed tests.

I'd watch for sure. No idea what they can do with heavyweight. Strong, capable fighters that are 265? That pool is incredibly small compared to other weight divisions, I'd wager.

i think jayrebb is on the money. why would a genetically blessed, very rare, big bodied, well trained human, who dedicated their youth to athleticism, fight for WME jews for peanuts when there's plenty of other promotions who would pay big dollars for them to do their thing? it's not like they are midgets. the world is full of midgets. all due respect to mighty mouse though.

I think that is the primary reason. There is no shortage of athletic guys that would be in the heavyweight division. Those kids can get NIL deals nowadays and I would assume the collegiate wrestling programs aren't paying athletes like Football, Basketball, and Baseball programs are.

i'm surprised there aren't coconut women dominating MMA. some of those broads are hefty as fuck.
Because they don't really have a women's weight division for those fat fucks. And even if they did, they wouldn't have enough other competition.

That shit's always comical to me. I'm not a puss but handing a 35lb weight to someone feels like you are holding a 35lb weight. Even Halfjor would be straining a little bit, because it's still way above zero pounds. Near his max, no, but it's absolutely not nothing. The fat broad knew she was carrying a heavy weight, even with her gigantic cellulite filled frame.

in otherwords: Fake News

Yeah that reminds me of all those Anatoly videos where he hands people that heavy mop people aren't expecting but if they were it wouldn't be that big of a deal
