Follows a hardened ex-fighter (Bisping), who comes back to town after years in exile to bury his best friend and settle old debts. Reunited with his godson (Finn), a street-level enforcer tied to a criminal syndicate, the two forge an uneasy alliance and plot a high-stakes heist to escape the grip of a ruthless mob boss.

Can't even remember the last time a point was taken for a nut shot or an eye poke.

I think Cheick Kongo was the last point taken for a nutshot on a main card. And he had to really work for it-- in an era when reffing was much more strict about a number of things such as inactivity, not only fouls. Refs used to give constant verbal instruction when they saw a fighter begin to rake and go for pokes. Now they are less involved in the fight and sort of let it play out and ignore looking for things.

Too many times I've seen fighters have to call their own fouls. During the golden era, refs would stop a fight for a foul instantly. It might not lead to a point taken, but the fights got paused and they got a stern talking to which is more than we are getting today. Now fighters have to call their own nut shots and let the ref know whether they have been fouled. Just all ass backwards.

Reffing has taken a giant step back the last 10 years and isn't going to change overnight.
The real step forward would be no reffing at all except maybe to stop the fight after a knockout/tap so that people aren't just killing everyone.

Got my hopes up seeing Oliveira, then I saw it's not Do Bronx. I'll sit this one out.
