I watched the season finale a day after it aired. I didn't comment on it because the finale was just okay.

I am not into the strong female boss-bitch gangster like Maeve and Kat McAllister. Maybe this isn't a big thing coming from Guy Ritchie, but I've seen too much strong independent women bullshit from Hollywood in general. It's played out.

Don't care about Maeve because it's fairly well done.

The Kat angle just felt forced and the finale suffered as a result. It was supposed to be some big fuck you moment, but for me it just felt like a random scene that could have taken place in the middle of the season-- definitely not finale material.

I'm about half way through this show right now. Helen Mirren is a conniving bitch and I hope she gets got.

She does play a psycho you really can't stand, I justed wanted her character to be lit on fire after torture.

This thread has more traffic now than it did while airing it seems. Like I said, this was the only show I was looking forward to watching every week in a long time

If this was really originally a Ray Donovan thing, I guess it makes sense. His wife on that show was repugnant.

This show is full of retarded women.

I know Maeve is pushing Eddie to fuck with Harry but I loved Harry telling that cunt Eddie he would push him off the top if he FAFO.

Eddie is Conrads kid??? No wonder he's such a worthless cunt.

Was this a Guy Ritchie show? If so, I didn't realize that. I haven't read much of the thread because I haven't watched it but I might check it out. Just kind of scan through and it looks like most of you guys are saying it's pretty good.
Not sure if he was just hired or what but yeah I told my wife that I didn't know Guy Ritchie could do something this well. Don't get me wrong I like his films , well most of them, but they are the same movie with different titles.

I don't know I thought The Covenant it was a pretty big departure from his normal stuff. I mean it didn't have British gangsters or anything but it was a pretty great movie. I know when he gets into the gangster mode I can see how everything sort of blends together though.

I think he's definitely getting better as a filmmaker overall throughout the past couple of decades, then I'll go out of my way to watch his stuff, and I guess that's the reason I asked or was surprised he was involved in the show.

Yeah I just didn't put that together with the kid. I assumed it was before they were married for what ever reason.

it makes no sense why maeve is so infatuated w/ eddie and grooming him while the bald brother is a fuck up, the other brother isn't so bad as long as he has harry around to give him confidence, (in every scene w/o harry he is meek) considering how much maeve detests seraphina cuz she didn't shoot out of her pussy

In the prison scene it seemed like she wanted to fuck him. Im assuming she just wanted a more open power position running the family through him.

I thought the first movie ever saw him in was Donnie Darko. I'm pretty sure that was his biggest starting role, even if it was a pretty independent film.

Just binged this the past week. Its fine. I'm not entirely sure what story it's trying to tell. Hardy's character is way too much of a black box and surprisingly I think this should have been at least 2 episodes less, maybe even 4.

The weirdest thing about this show for me though was.... what exactly do these fierce, insane hannigans actually do? What exactly makes them mobsters? They seem more like serial killers. Pretty big failure of the show in my opinion.
