Gonna have to try out the ranged weapons for sure. The Arekkz vids for Bow and Lt. Gunbow, both looked fun, but I had a question which someone might be able to answer here. For the various attacks, sometimes I saw Triangle+Circle, does that mean you have to press them both at the same time? If so, that seems a bit awkward.

Mine was flying about 4 hours ago, I got the whole thing in about 20 minutes. I imagine it's congested as fuck now with it starting in 2 hours.

This may be common knowledge but I just read and found out that the beta will have 2 large monsters who aren't quest targets. I won't post details because of spoilers but it says they are for "expert players who want an extra challenge" - Who else is in?

Nah its not awkward at all. Just triangle/circle is just weird for your attack buttons instead of square/x. Hope i can remap the keys. Also solo'd first two monsters so far and everything just feels and looks fan-fucking-tastic. Game is going to be epic.

Switch axe is beast. Think I found my go to weapon. Way more fluid than what I'm used to in MH3U. Best part about MHW..YOU DONT FLEX AFTER DRINKING A DAMN POTION.

Finished it in less than an hour. Dual blades feel much smoother than on handhelds. It is still pretty crazy running around. This is a day one purchase. Can't wait to play some nights with you fools.

Edit: Holy shit, Chysamere found a Rathalos. Is there a bonus for finding and killing it?

The game is also fucking beautiful in high res on. 4K oled with hdr on pro.
