Also you can charm different mobs for 1 hour buffs. Think the dunes madman will give you sow for example. Then just mez and memblur if you want to grab something else. Wizard mobs give you spell haste which is massively useful for charm as well

Archer is pretty damn sick and some of the best graphically satisfying Caltrops I've ever seen in a game. Typically they are half-assed and this is pretty sick. Illuminating shot is also very good for seeing in the dark.

Now I'm having issues deciding on Inquisitor or Archer. Shite.

Glad to hear Archer is cool. None of my buddies or I have tried it. I’ve kinda wondered how it would play and be unique other than “I auto attack from range”.

Does it melee at all? What do you do when something gets on you?

You get some nice tools to get away, low level these are the only two I have now and they seem to work great. You get more goodies at 10+ but I'm not there yet, but there are plenty of tools and utility to support a group. Especially Illuminating arrow. It would be great addition for when I'm tanking on a Human and I can't see anything. It won't force someone to carry a torch for you.
