I think the current ability to keep opting in is just so you can change the message you send them.

I told them I wanted to help put the finishing touches on and lord my access over my friends. The stream I watched today suggested that it was just a lottery though, so not sure if there even reading the message you can send.

if anyone gets a beta invite and doesn’t have a friend to invite, I’ll happily be your +1.

Echoing I will be someone’s plus one as well. Want to play this just to get a feel for it (when not restricted by the weekend play tests and what not, which don’t always work with my schedule).

I haven’t had the ability to camp Discord, but I’d love to casual dad this thing up some.

The discord/twitch giveaways will presumably stop with beta. But I think they said there will be at least 2 more open sessions during the beta period.

Being an older gamer like many of you, there’s a group of people I like to play with and sometimes we might play one person who’s not around that day so they can keep up with the rest of us. To me that is a far cry from the monstrosities out there like @Tuco and sam da man.
If you also occasionally play one other account for a friends sake, and don’t want to be on a server with 6+ boxers running everywhere, then please let the devs know. As it is now it looks like they are having strict no box policy (not sure how they will be able to enforce it but they seem confident about it) and then another ,full box server where you can aim for the highest single human burst dps in history.

Why not just ask for a fellowship system to share XP with your buddy

How has the ele been? I usually go with those. The Pantheon one isn't too bad. I like how you can equip the pet with stuff (and it keeps it forever).

I know I'm usually in for a bad pathing time, but I love me MMO pet classes :p

Ele is pretty sick, each pet has a group buff and is a really strong class. I don't know all the group buffs but a few are really nice.


Fire Elemental - Light source and buff (I don't know the buff on this one).
Water Elemental - Mana regen group buff.
Air Elemental - Windfury proc group buff (Only 2x attack though).
Earth Elemental - Tank (I don't know the buff on this one).

Oh new launcher is live for those about to be in beta. Old one works too for now. Looks basically the same, better back end stuff. IE faster downloads.

Does the default launcher auto-update or do I need to go find it somewhere? Looks the same to me.

Fun, needs some finishing details. Soloing late game is kinda a chore outside of light blue mobs, you either burn your mana to kill a blue or you suffer through low XP killing light blues fast.

The blast system should be their primary form of damage and not Wiz nukes a tier late though. The blast system is a...blast...to use LOL.

The premise is that you are given 4 "Blast" spells that spread over the 4 element types. Combining blasts with the elemental effects that the pets themselves apply for about 6-8 seconds after using their DD, the Ele can get a secondary effect.

Currently there are only 4 effects:

Earth Pet + Water Blast = Snare

Fire Pet + Water Blast = Blind

Fire Pet + Air Blast = Knockback

Water Pet + Fire Blast = AE Damage

I would love to see this expanded to all pets and all blasts with "Synergy" blasts being your damage spell and "Dissonance" blasts being your effects, something like

Water pet + water Blast = Water Jet ( 4-5x Blast Effect damage )
