What's obvious to me, if I was in their shoes, is to be head down focused on delivering the best version of what they originally intended. Guaranteed to succeed. Barring that? Offer it as a ruleset server. I'll be there with bells on.

played again this play test over the weekend, aside from the charm changes still enjoyed it (have been maining a ENC, sticking to high blue's seems to be the new sweet spot), camp checks in ooc when going into wyrmsbane really hit the nostalgia feels. But overall looking forward to the EA launch and at some point get a lottery invite to help decide between the 3-4 classes that have interested me.

I still think they need to put up a live feed of the Wyrmsbane entrance on YouTube or Twitch at EA launch and just let people watch the train shenanigans.

graphics and armor look great... i dont mind low poly or games with shitty graphics

but something about those models, besides that human/elf is just fuken gay idk any other word. the fattys are chodes and the slimmer models are pencil dicks idk proportions are way off... it wont stop me from playing but it'll stop me from telling my friends that im playing

It’s a problem I call “being able to now match concept art to in game art”

Most of what we love/loved from back in the day was nowhere near the concept art… re: FF6 etc.

The concept art and style the wood elves are here is not traditional “LOTR Elves” they are the very woodsy sprite “wood elf” where they are /like wood/ not /elves that live in forests/ - so them being sticky and their skin being somewhat wood grain is… what they want.. and imo its a very “small” style of elves that, really is not that popular or good looking -no idea why they wanted this

Deep Elves, Deep Gnomes, Deep Dwarves, Trolls and High Elves are planned. Unsure when some of those come into the game though.

I can’t seem to get over the goofy models. There’s been talk of potential lizardmen, so probably will be waiting to see if that comes to pass and how they look. Deep dwarves do seem kind of cool, too.

I’m not sure what it is really, but there’s definitely something there. Maybe proportions? Are the heads too big? The eyes? I can’t put my finger on it.

That being said, i don’t dislike the character models at all.
