Also, funny thing. Last night I was just camping one of the wyrmsbane GMs - maybe get the little haste cape for my deep elf I am sure I am going to make...

on my way out was this level 5 inquisitor soloing down there... I was like "wow!" - looked at the dudes gear and the only thing I recognized was vindi pants... everything else was insane stuff, over half of it was not even on the wiki... so... twinking deff is a thing, and effective haha. I am sure his AC was just so high he was barely getting hit.

Ac caps pretty low, or it used to. I think they improved it recently but with the smithing recipe changes make quick crafting a full set of plate a quite spendy endeavor.

35 mins buff timers now down from 1 hour. Because socialization… no one like recasting buffs. No one is going to run back to town to get a buff mid dungeon anyway, just makes classes with a lot of buffs hate life or not cast it at all. If they reduced the cast time to instant and almost no mana sure…maybe. Having to manually switch out spells in your bar though really eats into the likelihood you are getting that secondary stat buff ever again. Definitely one of the dumber things I have seen especially on a game as slow as this.

I don’t mind that change although I would’ve found it ok to just change the “major” buffs like SoW, Clarity, Haste, or maybe leave the group versions 1hr

SoW was 30m in EQ and I think it would change a bit of the calculus between wanting to have it up all the time if you need to go get it 2x as often

Elementalist changes seem cool all I really want them to do is retheme some of the generic summons to be more elemental-ish - like bandages

lot of buffs used to be 20 mins, the one hour change was huge. Now it’s dumb again. Not sure why they think it’s a good idea.

edit: is the patch done and all up? my launcher wont patch...just "loading" - dunno if its Mac-gayness or things just aint ready

edit 2: mac gayness- had to force a log out and log into patcher for it to kick off the update

Pally changes will take a bit to get used to... the holy ground thing is kinda dumb that it is temporary... it really is only a thing to do to enhance one of your smite strikes... so that is kinda silly to "do this, so this is a little better"

Glowing golden friend is gone :-( he was great- I do not think the /smidge/ better and smidge faster heals make up for him - deff in regards to tight situations

Did a Commander Mangles before patch and now after... I feel, weaker... DPS perhaps has increased...some... I run out of mana now doing all my flashing pixles... but surviveability and longevity is down... noticeably, DPS is...maybe up? Had to pop DA and LoH - before patch, just a DA to get in a patch heal and a nuke..

I am sure some adjustments will be made, but this was not a "Buff" nor do I feel MORE PALLY LIKE! -

Underdocks is sweet, its pretty massive and quite confusing so far. I can't wait to learn it.

So many just refusing to explore, people have forgetton the joy of discovery and exploration.
