I liked Underdocks ok - I could see sticking there I just felt like heading up top because I know the out of the way spots already and wanted to check the vision stuff

The Deep Elf city I have heard is total ass and barely built out but idk how accurate that is. The lore is that you’re an “outcast” and have to do a quest line to prove yourself before you can be non-KOS to the main part of the city lol. I actually like this because I felt Dark Elf was the most overrated EQ race but then again I never shopped at hot topic

Lol

Wait… no one is getting Vanguard dejavu from that lol… or did no one play dark elf’s in vanguard lol

Why are you so obsessed with sight when you have other senses you can use to enjoy the game?

What do you guys think launch day is gonna be like for EA? I'm contemplating blowing off work that day just to have some fun but I'm worried the servers will be overloaded.

I think his monitor needs a calibration. I can see forever with gamma at 50% with ultravision.

If the light source management system is important to their vision of the game, so be it. If that’s the case though, make the game as dark as is optimal for that system to function as intended and scrap the various vision types all together. Attach Infra/Ultravision to items/gnomish technology and be done with it. Make it part of the light source management game. Make the items more easily available for Deep races.

Blurred day vision for taking a night vision trait is an absurdity.

It is going to be a clusterfuck, when it is up it will be a slideshow of lag, and every single mob will be camped at its spawn.
I am seriously considering waiting a week to start playing in ernest.

Yeah I was thinking maybe the Monday after launch might be reasonable to take off, but who knows. Launch day and Friday I’m sure will be a cluster.

Sounds like they'll have all the server issues sorted out just in time for everyone to forget about this game and play GTA VI.

Yeah there's tons of overlap between MNM and GTA 6. WoW: Forever will poach far more than GTA 6 will.

Enjoying the new cleric a lot. Only lvl 10 but it’s fun. The random “god” buff procs are neat and I wish they were just a little more frequent, but it is what it is.

Had planned on maining a monk but I got pretty burned out only pulling for the 50 levels I played on it. Felt like I did nothing but run around while everyone else got to play their classes. Yeah I know that’s what is expected so maybe it just isn’t for me.

I went to one of the Dragon Raids while they waited for a Sandstorm and one of Paladins gave me all his gear and they gave me shaman buffs and enchanter buffs. Iirc, his haste item was 23%, Enchanter haste at 55%, and an additional 20% from the stacks of self haste. I'm actually not even sure all that shit stacks, but it "felt" like it did, lol. Never mind the extra 20 in all melee stats etc.

By no means am I saying that with level 60 buffs and raid/end game gear on, that that is a fair comparison to make. But Gahhhhh'fuckin'lee did I just melt the Crocodiles in GF. With lvl 60 clarity on, wisdom buff, etc. - not only did my god procs just fucking dunk (when they did have a good roll) but I'm almost positive that you end up proccing Wrath and Piety more often with more attacks. I've heard people SAY that they dont think combat is related, but it sure as fuck felt like it when I was playing "Battle Cleric, rarrr!" I never even got close to 70% mana (or lower) unless I just non-stop nuked - and this is while I was healing myself through the damage.

Now Im NOT saying that this is a viable format to play at max level. Cause everyone and their mom has this opinion that "Well you're not going to be able to do that later on in the game." "You'll always be out of mana if you're always attacking." "You have to sit all the time." .... I just cant help but wonder if well.. thats because all the high level clerics are geared with the old playstyle in mind. The very clear examples Ive seen of people trying it in stream, the Clerics arent equipped like a paladin. .. They could very well be right, though. Im not saying theyre wrong by any means - but it does leave an air of curiosity about the "potential".
