There may be healing overlap… and I do not know shaman…
But Pally gets normal pacify - SK only gets undead - so it’s limited. FD is fine, but its a spell, and messy so its not like monk or whomever - so Pally may be better than SK… for the duo… but a knight and shaman are historically a very capably duo.
Agro… my SK is insane Agro… but if your going on pulls, CC etc.. Pal may edge out SK for the duo- but overall- either will be great to mix with a shaman and can most likely go to 60

Finally settled on a shaman on Trem. Would’ve preferred Bst, but they gutted them during the rework. They’re just kinda boring dps now. Shaman still seems good, but I wish they hadn’t taken the pet away. Not that they were powerful, just that I always enjoyed the aspect of having a summoned buddy when I played shaman back in the day. And my god just implement round robin looting at the very least. These issues were solved forever ago.

No, I spent something like 230 hours leveling most of the classes over level 10 and doing all the starting quests. I have a few teens too. ~20 hours were in Tel Ekir on the enchanter grinding goblin asses by myself and with groups sometimes (which I should add that I was getting basically zero exp for this since I was there solely for the illusion, aka having fun in a game instead of just mindlessly grinding levels.) There's nothing this game has to offer me that I can't already foresee or have experienced in some form already. I got the spells and checked the future spells of every class I'm interested in playing, reading through their effects thoroughly. If I had a druid to powerlevel me it would have gone a lot faster, but I enjoy the low level grind for the most part. The juice just isn't worth the squeeze for anything further at the moment, but I'll keep an eye on it.

Last night we started a really weird group and kind of just picked up whoever was around. No tanks at the time so it was just 2 necros, shaman, cleric, bst and bard. Bard was a fuckin maniac puller and we had 3 pets that could tank. They took like no damage and these were yellow/red cons. They only lost threat a couple times. I'm sure we can't do that as we get higher levels but it was a surprisingly chill night.

No..you can. Enchanter or bard, one healer and all pet classes absolutely stomps. Healer is only there for emergencies and camp breaking, once broken in the healer becomes a shitty DPS and support class.
A geared tank is slightly better than a tank pet right now at mid 30s. I grouped with a beast of a paladin and dude just had to heal himself once in a while. His damage though was non existent.

Hah that's great. And yeah we technically had two healers but they just tossed stuff out occasionally. I never saw my zombie go below 50% and that was after massive pulls. Guildies snake took literally like 0 damage
Yeah that worked surprisingly well. Was expecting a bit of a cluster, but those bugs did like zero dmg. Was shocked how little damage my snek was taking.

Too real bro. One of my real life friends that had a female dark elf necro he use to cyber with to get free gear went from a Jeff to a Jocelyn after he moved to Seattle.
