Oh I am completely aware of the optimization issues with Unity but I should be able to pull down more than 25-35 fps at 1080p staring at an empty desert. Forget even looking in the direction of NH. Lol

I used to get fps in the 20s when i still had a amd 1700x, upgraded to a 9800x3d and pretty much get 90+ all the time now. Cpu heavy like most mmos. Though apparently the unity upgrade they have in the pipeline should help with that some.

I know I sound rather silly. It's just nice to have a PC closer to the top end than the bottom end again. My son is losing his mind over finally being able to play Wreckfest 2 and Forza.

I’m kinda saving mats and waiting for human racial, then going to work on crafting. Hopefully by then I’ll have a nice little nest egg of funds.

Code signing was down at work today so I couldn't do shit. Just grinding in FP the whole day solo and it was interesting. I'd say until about 3pm I had my 4 beetle spawn camp all to myself. Couple times people started pulling them and I told them I'd train them if they didn't leave lol. May get reported for that. At least one of those guys started arguing in /ooc that it wasn't a camp and he got shut down by the whole zone and left. That's the kind of justice we need here.

Made it to 25 so the second hell level is down. The level 24 spells were insanely expensive at 16s each (and I needed 10). I did get them all but I spent every cent and I make quite a bit of money soloing. Like someone in guild said after your first character it's a non issue so I'll suffer through it.

I got some lip from people that I didn't want to team up and preferred to solo. I actually think I can level a little faster than a group most times unless it's a really optimized group, though it might just feel that way because if I control a camp I can stagger spawns perfectly.

Sounds like you had a perfect spot, four good dark blues/whites that you can lock down and maintain on respawn. Adding another player without adding more mobs (in a zone where people are fighting for every skeleton and beetle) would be dumb. Dunno why people don’t realize this. “oh this guy has a good thing going, I’m sure he’d love some company to leech his exp.”

Yeah! And even more accurately why would I want to invite someone 4 levels below me haha
