Movies You Can't Remember

Over the years I've watched a few films that I'd seen as a kid and found them to be less impressive than I'd remembered them. Kinda sucks, really.

Anyway, got an actual question here. I can remember one scene from a movie I thought it was pretty cool. An older cowboy film 1950's maybe??

So the scene: Bad guys ( 3-4 ) tie up and rob innocent old farmer and wife who live way out in semi-desert. The main good guy is there with them ( cannot remember the circumstances ) anyways, bad guys take a load of food + valuables etc. They take everyone's guns. There's a big old hunting rifle on a display board above the mantle. Do we take that Boss?? No, its old heavy and useless. Badguys ride off. After several minutes the good guy is able to get loose of his bindings and unties the old farmer and wife. They look out and can only just see the bad guys way off in the distance as dots on the horizon. Points to big old hunting rifle "Does that thing still work?" You bet it does. They get it down and he sets up to shoot from a table to do a massive long distance shot. Loads a big old bullet into the gun. I can remember that he goes to look through the sights and has to lift it up as there's dust and he licks the V of the rear sight. Then takes his time, lines up the shot BOOM! Then we cut to the bad guys and WHIP! in comes the bullet and hits / seriously injures one of the bad guys ( but not the leader ).

For all I know it might be from a well known classic, that I've just never seen again since. But I always thought that scene was really cool.

I really vaguely remember some kids movie where they are at a mining crater? hole? and its filled with water. Deep down a monster comes up to the top when it rains. Turns out its a Track hoe arm or some piece of drilling machinery. What was the name of that?

I got one. Watched a review of "Wish upon".(review loved it. horribly bad. amazingly campy. Final destination+wishmaster.) And now I am trying to remember another horrible 2000-2011?ish. terrible horror movie.

I could have sworn it had megan fox, but thats turn up a blank, so must have been someone else.
30yr old "teens" get some kind of game. They have to play it. people die. the winner at the end gets to make a wish. gf of winner is, I though megan fox, dies. gets possessed by dragonfly monster in the ocean. winner makes the stupid wish of, "I wish it was the day before we found the game" or some stupidity. time loops. but forgot to specify not finding the game. so, stuck in a time loop.

nvm, found it.
open graves. it was Eliza dushku.

Man, it looks so different now. Thats definitely the movie, but not seeing it it in over 20 years isnt helping. Sort of how I loved the Neverending Story when I was 5 but cant stand that movie now, I guess.

Open Graves looks like a good time waster though.

Since he didn't gobble, it couldn't have been sgt york. But are you sure it was the rear sight and not the front? That maneuver is most often done to the front sight.

I don't suppose you recall if it was in color of black and white? It might not have even been a full movie. Back in the day westerns were kinda like porn in that they'd do tons and tons of stand-alone scenes.

Not a movie... but very obscure.

Music video from the 90s - was a "Christian" music vid - but was insanely well produced (to a young me) - it was Sci fi, dystopia future with refugees or slave workers and escaping from totalitarian militant guards and some get shot etc.

Really how is there no thread on this movie??

Obviously old movie, I truly think it's fantastic. I'm at the part where they just killed Michael Biehn, and the wife just drowned and they're about to swim back. Fucking fantastic acting, heart wrenching, amazing scene. But why didn't she take a deep breath and at least start swimming back with bud, and die en route, instead of adding on to her death time in the capsule? :) This is truly a fantastic movie though.

I’ll play. An old short film from the early 80s. I believe it was called “Who’s There?” or something close to that. Starts in a laboratory where something has escaped. Then cuts to some kids being watched (presumably by) the escaped creature. Then the story focuses on a jogger being stalked through the woods by the creature/creatures. Won’t spoil the ending, but it made quite an impression on me as a kid. Can’t find any evidence it exists.

will probably need more.
80's was full of creature features/bigfoot. and cheap pov monster stalking shots.
if you can remember the ending say it...
Im pretty sure "monster escapes from a lab, and stalks kids/joggers" describes like 500 movies

also, any info on the monster. hairy werewolf, slimy mutant, radioactive mutant, radioactive slug, radioactive rabbit, radioactive fish...
high budget? low budget vhs?

The creatures finally catch the jogger and tag him, telling him “Tag. You’re it!”, and the creatures all start chanting it. The creatures are small human sized, with brown fur. Basically people with prosthetics. I can’t quite recall the best way to describe their faces. They had some dangling appendages on their faces. It’s a low-budget that was shown before films on the Z Channel, so it’s maybe only 10 minutes long or so. Also, the jogger is a husky fellow.
