Final season 3 just started, every episode is around 25-30 mins, so easy to catch up. Highly recommended if you missed it.

I'd never head of this before so I went and read a few reviews and it seemed right up my alley. It's very good, nearly all the characters are likeable and it's funny as fuck sometimes. I think because it's Australian and them being known for their absolute dogshit TV I think it's passed under the radar for lots of people.

If you like Fargo then it's probably worth checking as it has a similar vibe.

Loving the first season. It's a real shame that the northern hemisphere has become ashamed of masculinity.
Scott Ryan is intoxicating. Every action and facial expression he makes is both relaxed and nuanced (even when he's fucking horrifying).

It's more Tarantino than Tarantino (and in one episode I swear they poke fun at this in a "meta" way when they are in a car making fun of the name "Quintin.")

If you're not watching this show, you should. It's also great that each episode is short (and if they are not really short it's a testament to exceptional writing that time passes quickly).

Enjoy it. It's great.

This show was top notch and its a shame what TV series have become in the past few years. The actors were all great and it was funny, dramatic and sad at times.

Glad more are watching it, but every time this gets a bump I think we are getting more seasons or a movie.

If you guys haven't, watch a movie Scott Ryan made in 2018 called The Magician. It is essentially episode 0 of Mr. Inbetween

I knew the character was from a movie and i just watched it for the first time...couple of issues tho:

Movie is from 2005 not 2018 he is considerably younger.
Movie states his character died 5 months after filming the "documentary" which is what the movie was supposed to be.
He has a 7 year old daughter in the movie and i guess she's also 7 in the show, i dont remember if they state her age
So im not sure if the show is supposed to take place in the same time period, like its the same dude thus hes supposed to die in like 5 months after the show/documentary, is it just loosely based on the same character, and we should ignore the movie or what

Oh shit. That drug lord does tell his lackey that he's the magician.

I think the girl is around 7 or 8. They do say her age a couple times. But I would add that they didn't seem to pay much attention to that stuff in the show. At one point he gave his birthday to his girl as being 1976. I remembered it because I immediately set about figuring out how old he was. Based on the year the episode was released, he was 44. But then in the last season they had a high school reunion class of 1996. So he was 20 when he graduated? Maybe that's how aussies do it, but more likely they didn't think to that level of continuity.
