I just finished the series. Pretty good ending. I definitely wanted more. There were probably only 3 or 4 episodes that I hated. But with them all being around 30 minutes, I didn't have to endure it for long.

Putting The Magician on my list now ...

The magician is not great. The only reason to watch is if you're a fan of Mr Inbetween, but if you're not shaky cam tolerant, don't even bother. It looks like it was originally an indie student film. The start was horrible. Once you get past the idea of a hitman letting someone do a documentary on him, it gets OK at the end. They get into the same type of hijinks we saw in the show.

I didn't watch The Magician but a mate of mine was getting annoying about "Mr Inbetween is awesome you're a cunt not watching it" Well I've binged the 3 seasons TV show and I think it's really great. It's 26mins episode format, pace is awesome, actors are top notch and the whole show about "normal" people doing the worst while being human beings, well I think it's something anyone should watch. If you like crime drama / gangster stuff "à la Soprano" but raw you definitely should give it a shot. It's Australia tough, not New Jersey.
