MY truth implies it's not THE truth. Odd choice of words.

Not when you recognize that truth is not fact and that objective truth is impossible to achieve.

What happened between him and his alleged abusers is going to be seen in a different way by both sides of it. If he's focusing on HIS truth, then it's likely that he sees it as being worse than they might (or would admit to)

He says that Haim was raped by Charlie Sheen (on the set of Lucas I think) but I bored watching it and found that bit flipping around.

Yeah I don't buy that really. If it's a child you are having sex with, it's wrong even if they consent.

The only exception would be a teenage boy and a really attractive 20s-30s woman, because that's the dream of any teenage boy lol.

the whole "my truth" idiom is a social catchphrase that's used almost specifically to endear yourself to others who use that phrase. it's a nonsense term for nonsense people.

The fact anyone is talking in a serious manner about this clown is the most disturbing part of this.

To be fair, the guy is pretty weird and creepy, so people are interested in what made him that way. Weird how him and culkin both are creepers, both were good friends with michael jackson, but both have only nice things to say about him.

I always thought "my truth" was a thing you stuck on to a potentially slanderous statement to get a little cover. "Disclaimer - your truth my vary and the claims made here may bear no similarity to observable reallity."

Corey is lookin to MAKE money, not get sued and lose the money he already has!

Who knows man, he probably did get forcibly buttfucked as a teenager by some old men. It's not exactly hard to believe. This whole thing should be a cautionary tale against allowing your child actor be unsupervised when interacting with adults.

That's pretty much best case.

I used to be right there with you, but then it turns out many young men in this situation had this quite negatively impact them as they got older so... /shrug

When you're a kid, surviving on HoHos and Mountain Dew sounds fantastic, until you look around and see all the lardass diabetics as you get older. Most guys in that ^^ situation don't talk about it publicly enough for us to know how it really turns out, so most of us have no clue.

I'm sure it fucks with them. For one thing your early sexual experiences do form a lasting imprint. There are a lot of foundations for lifelong sexuality that are laid down within a span of maybe 1-2 years and a handful of experiences. They're not intractable, they can be moved and corrected and modified. But if you don't know that they need to be, which you won't for years, then it's going to be more challenging.

Of all the possibilities for molestation though it is the least bad.

in a more straight forward example, there's a ton of people who were introduced to porn at a formative age, and it has seriously affected their ability to have a healthy sex life with any partner. anal for example. there are a lot of people out there that are just unsatisfied by anything less. now imagine how that would translate to a teenager having sex with an adult and having that teenager's brain assess that as normal (because the brain doesn't have any other experiences to draw from to know what is or isn't normal). THAT can become the thing they look for in a sexual experience except they can't really find it anymore.

it's super easy to just be all "Nice..." but in reality it can cause a lot of problems for them down the line

I wonder if the absence of sexual activity or interpersonal relations resulting in sexual activity at the formative ages, the ages scientifically proven to be where you are imprinted with your sexual tastes and fetishes-- is that a detriment in some way?

What I mean is, are late bloomers more asexual overall and have fewer incidences of fetishes, or more?

I don't buy into your assertion that porn is capable of imprinting. I should specify I'm talking specifically about studies where fetishes of various types can be traced to the formative/imprint age. I think real life experiences are necessary.

People preferring anal pornography and actually living it are mutually exclusive.
