Tonight's game should be interesting

Warriors (62-6) on the road against the Spurs (58-10) who are undefeated at home so far.

If it is wasn't for Steph Curry's and Warriors taking the limelight, the Spurs would definitely be the story of the season. Remarkable how consistent they are. Should be a great game tonight.

And there are still two more Spurs-Warriors games left in the season after tonight. The final two are only three days apart.

Warriors playing 2 days in a row and 3 in 4 days, plus they're still missing Iggy. If Spurs can't win this then that's gonna be pretty demoralizing

Warriors will now also be out Bogut (probably). Thankfully Speights is playing his best ball right now.

And don't forget Ezeli is still out. So missing 3 of our top 8. This game is definitely bigger for the Spurs tonight. They have to win if they want any chance of catching the W's for first. If they do win the race will be very interesting and could go down to the last few games. If the W's win tonight, the race is pretty much over.

Curry missing all of his 3s through the first half. Things can only get better for the Warriors for the second.

Warriors really missed Bogut in this one. Gave up way too many offensive boards. Even if Curry shot half as well as he usually does the Dubs probably would have won. The W's losing streak in SA continues...

Lavine shooting quick 3s and everyone refusing to give the ball to KAT didn't help at the end there.

Dubs (and Curry in particular) are clearly a bit worn down from the other team trying to bring their A-game every night. For a team like the Wolves this was like their championship game. Warriors were in that position too many years, but of course the Wolves won't be there much longer. Anyways, good time to have a nice long stretch of mostly home games.

Good to see the Spurs lose to Linsanity tonight btw! It'd be fun to see the Warriors finish some of these records off, but if they clinch the best record with a few games left I wonder if they'll just decide the record isn't worth it and give Steph some nights off. The way he's looked lately they may go that way, but we'll see how the home crowd can refresh him. Would also be nice to get Bogut and / or Festus back into things soon. Small works great in stretches in games but missing both of them really wears on the whole team I think when they have to try going small ball half a game.

Agreed. But you can blame this on Sam just as much as Zach or Wiggins. Our crunch time strat is endless amounts of ISO plays for one of them. Usually Wiggins. You've dealt with the disaster that is Sam Mitchell in Toronto though so I don't have to tell you.

Really getting torn about Oak. I'm seeing some of these guards and their potential in the draft. Boston was willing to trade that nets pick for him. I'm wondering if it comes back up draft day. It will prob be a top 5 pick. I think he has so much potential but if could trade him for someone with equal upside but fills a position of need? I think we would have to do it.

Perfect world. We'd get 1, lakers fall to 4 and we get that and potential trade Boston for the 2/3 pick. Jeez!

I'm telling you, man. This isn't the draft you want that Lakers pick. Really weak overall and a total guessing game after the top two. You know I don't like Okafor but as a prospect he's worth more than anyone outside of Simmons or Ingram.

I love Dunn. Think he's going to be a stud in the pros. He carried that team this year and played really well vrs UNC. I'd take him at 4

Yeah I was going to say, I'd be perfectly fine with either Simmons/Ingram and Dunn at 4.

I see the defensive potential there but I really don't know what he brings offensively. If you're desperate to take a Senior as a top 5 pick explain to me what about Dunn's college acumen puts him that far above Hield (FYI I like Dunn better than Hield as an NBA prospect too but not 10 picks better)? I know there's plenty of exceptions to this rule, but the norm is really that you miss out on so much development time taking older college players. A lot of these guys can turn into decent NBA players, few become stars.

2017 is loaded with incoming freshman PGs and wings. That's the draft you want that Lakers pick. 6ers need to be shooting for the moon because in truth their tanking strategy has kind of blown up in their face. Better hope Saric can a) play the 3 and b) ends up really good.

I like that he's an actual PG, reminds me a bit of a bigger Mike Conley. I'm ok with not getting a superstar at 4.

I'm still cautiously optimistic with how the tank has gone, really depends on Saric/Embiid. If they can trot out a line-up with something like Dunn/Ingram/SF/Saric/Embiid that's something I'd like to watch. I could also see Embiid never playing, Saric being a bust, and Hinkie getting fired in short order

I'd like to see them move Okafor somewhere, and I'm not sure where Noel fits into all this.

It's too soon to say if it's a failure. One of those early picks will have to be moved. I don't know if Boston would trade Ingram for Oak, but if they did, and we left the draft with Simmons and Ingram, I'd say at that point they made the right choices and if it didn't work, they just had a bad hand. We also picked the best player available the last few years. The balls really didn't go our way. Hopefully this year it's different. As for Dunn, he was hurt his first 2 years in college and basically had to red shirt it. Had he stayed healthy, there is no telling when he would come out. I think the Westbrook comparisons are wayyyy premature, but I do think he's the closest thing ready to a NBA PG in the draft and he proved he can carry a team on his shoulders. But I get your point. Loads of potential next year at PG and the Lakers will prob stink again next year.
