So, apparently Pop isn't sitting his starters tonight and they may decide to make a run at 70.

There a tl;dr version? No way I'm reading 13 pages of anything about the 6ers
"Innovation requires being different and brave. Famous dude quote. Sometimes good decisions lead to bad outcomes. Famous dude reference. You should judge the decision making process, not outcomes that partly rely on luck. Famous dude quote. You can't be so reaction based if you're trying something new born from good decisions. Famous dude reference. Management didn't believe in the process any longer even though I did exactly what I said I was going to do. Famous dude quote. "

I get that but do we need 82 regular season games to see a bunch of teams who can barely win 50% of their games make it to the playoffs? 10 of the 16 right now have not even won 60% of their games.

There -might- be something to do with a couple of teams towards the top end of all-time NBA most wins in a season numbers slightly skewing results. But yeah, there's just a lot of a jumble after the top 5-6 teams where the rest are just battling each other for scraps. And all the guys on the bottom.

If you're complaining that too many teams make the playoffs, then you're right. There's nothing special or different about this year, though.

But without 8 seeds this series never would have happened...

Actually there is one difference in those 8 seeds this year. This is the first time in a loooong time that the bottom of the eastern playoff bracket is stronger than the bottom of the west. Usually the 1-8, 2-7 matchups in the West have better potential than those in the east, but this year the west matchups may not be that good (i hope at least!) while they could actually be interesting in the east. I mean the Pacers as an 8th seed - well coached team that has a star, has good role players, playing against a Cavs squad that's had so much drama / internal friction this year.. Pacers probably don't win, but you never know (see above).

Warriors rocked that fourth quarter. So many good things about that win. End Spurs home win streak, end the Warriors regular season losing streak in San Antonio, tie the Bulls regular season win record.

Warriors appear to want to win this game. I hope they burst DPS even more in the second half and score like 150.

I don't have a problem with the number of teams in the playoffs, gives a lot of teams a little hope to win it all. What I don't like is how they drag it out over 4 months. When they take 2-4 days between games in some series I just stop giving a fuck and stop watching it.

Curry's going all out for 400 3s like he said he would. Already shot 13 of them out of his 14 total shots.

He better score one quick in the second half since there's a good chance he'll be watching the rest of the game from the sideline.

Kobe's giving a memorable brick and hero ball performance for the ages. 17-45 as of this post, haha.

Grats Warriors! As a Bulls fan it stings a bit but hey, this team it just too fun to watch.

i thought that Kobe going for 50 in a loss was going to be fitting but the tear he went on at the end there to get to 60 was awesome. Glad I got to see it.

What a game, props to Kobe man. Guy is a legend. Leave it up to him to upstage a team that wins fucking 73 games. I really hope the playoffs live up to the hype, because this has been a phenomenal year.
