Health is always a concern with the super tall thin dudes for sure. He's amazing to watch already, wait till he's more developed especially on offense.

Given the excellent early performance of their rookie centre, I think the Mavs are a single key trade away from being a real contender. It could absolutely happen before the deadline.

If they could snag a top tier small forward to really flesh out their frontcourt and bolster their perimeter defense (Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, Caruso…) they’d be among the best 6 teams in the league.

They have salary matching in Hardaway, Holmes, and Kleber - plus movable young pieces in Hardy, Green, and O-Max Prosper. Their 2027 FRP is highly valuable, and they have a couple swaps & seconds available.

Bridges is way out of reach, but Masai favours young players to picks. Maybe the Raps decide Anunoby will be too expensive next year?

Loving the early returns on the CP3 trade. It made sense for a lot of reasons, and its looking good so far. If only they can stay healthy they should contend. Big IF with some of their ages, we'll see.
