AZ can't break a simple 2-3 zone because all their Guards except Allen don't wanna drive to the hole. Up 8 with 2:30 left and decide to stop playing. Yeah my Wildcats are always good to let me down. /sigh
Apparently during the final possession of the UK game CBS in Columbus cut to the weatherman talking about a tornado warning and then just went to a black screen after that lol
Not if the zags get it donei'm gonna win this shit
EDIT: Doxxed myself.Went to the Final Four yesterday, entered the ticket lottery first day about 8 months ago and ended up picking up 4 tickets. Seats were terrible (had zero input due to lottery), upper deck, corner off the basket. Overall, it was a shitty experience tbh.
Could see the players but couldn't follow the action all that well. Spent most of the time watching the monitor over center court. No broadcast and PA was weak af, barely chiming in when there was a timeout. Bands barely played. Couldn't even hear the ball being dribbled.
Paid $200/seat for all 3 sessions, dumped em for $150/seat for the title game, so ended up paying $50/seat for the first two games, which is pretty trivial. I don't think I'll ever attend a Final Four game again unless I've got about $5k for tickets because that's about what it would take for decent seats. Glad I got to tick it off the bucket list, but never again. I enjoy it more watching on my 65" from the couch.
Edit: Was surprised by how well Zag fans travel, they represented well. Didn't expect that from a school with a student body of 7000.
Edit: fuck you FBI
Refs made that second half nearly unwatchable. Foul foul foul foul foul... both teams in the bonus with over 14 minutes left.. foul foul foul foul... Ugly title game, bring on the NBA playoffs.
I wish the NBA would implement the same rule MLB has... if you don't enter the draft straight out of high school, you won't be eligible again until after Junior year of college. College ball would be soooo much more entertaining, and it would help the NBA as well by filtering out more of the "upside" players that get drafted after one year of college but never actually learn how to play the game.
