The foundry shit is pretty funny for leveling, there's this map where it's like 4waves of 5 ogres, and since it takes a while and it has NPCs and shit, it actually counts for the daily and also give xp reward at the end for completing it. The estimated duration on it is 16mins, however I can do it in less than 10 on my CW by just pulling the 5 ogres at once and aoeing them down, and doing the whole thing gives me about 80-90% of a level.

As a side note, pubbing dungeons and shit is getting really annoying, on one side it takes forever to get a queue as a CW and on the other the difficulty, while not very high, is high enough that retards make you wipe and since there's no like LFG tool you can't seem to be able to grab a replacement or anything(it will autoreplace if you haven't killed a boss yet but after that it won't I believe). It's surreal to see lvl 40 fuckers who don't even have potions.

Around Helms area the game's difficulty does go up a notch because of the mob density. They also tend to throw less easy ones in the packs and more harder ones. One quest in particular had an elite guy at the bottom to solo. Refreshing.

Does anyone know what level the dungeons after Cloak Tower are? Just hit 20 and looking forward to doing some more.

I actually don't remember, been trying to think of the dungeons but the early ones weren't very memorable, faceroll shit and all. I wanna say it's something of Idris or something like that? Undead dungeons, iirc it was top end of the graveyard zone which is like 25ish or so, so you should get it in your queue list by 22 or 23. I could be mixing it up though, that might be a 30+ dungeon.

What's great about the servers crashing is CO and STO players are hitting up Neverwinter's forums to rage there since all three games are in the same server cluster apparently. One MMO crashes, they all go down.

It's going to be great if Cryptic releases another MMO after Neverwinter. I bet their forums will be a total warzone if that game crashes.

I'm wicked dumb, so I don't know how to activate a foundry quest. Only accepted a few. /smackshead
It depends on how the creator set their quest up. They can tie them into the regular game world (e.g. you go to a door in the public version of Blacklake to start the quest) or they can use entirely custom stuff accessed on the world map via quick travel. Check your world map in both cases, cause it should put the quest waypoint icon on top of a location bubble somewhere.

A bunch of ways.

Hit K. to the right, you can open the foundry menu.
Use a posterboard, in any bar, in the main marketplace, or at the start of most zones.
Talk to a Harper agent. This has the advantage of listing"local" ones first. So, if you are in the tower district, foundry quests that occur in the tower district will be listed first.

then the quest marker should tell you a place to go or person to talk to. Many have you use the city gates, to travel to unique locations.

Foundry quests scale with your level. the only problem with this is, they might send you to locations in high level zones that don't scale.

One of the top rated, in the menu right now is "the hidden blade". that one starts in the town center, so all levels can do it. you can do it right out of the level 3 intro.
It sends you to a door right next to the marketplace. (right next to the lost jewels quest)
however the followup quest by the same author, sends you to the tower district. Although, you CAN get to the npc safely with no combat. just hug left.

At level 48 I don't see how spending any money on this would increase the fun factor. You get bags from quests and mounts are a none issue since the maps are so small. The game is so easy mode. The only time i have died was in a group trying to rush by pulling as much as i could, since most group instances are boring an a waste of time.

This game refuses to download for me. I think it keeps fucking up my router, it ends up sitting around 1-2kbs.

I see they have other download options today. Trying filefront.

Aren't these guys known for, if nothing else, elaborate character customization? It didn't seem very elaborate to me and holy shit I can't wait for the day that bald isn't the best hair option.

Game is surprisingly fun...and I'm not sure exactly why. It almost has everything I despise about an MMO: Class based, instanced zones, completely on rails, frozen in place when attacking, buggy/confusing quest tracker, a line of pixy dust that guides you directly to where you are suppose to go for every quest. I should hate this game...but I don't exactly. Maybe cus it's free and I know I will be done with it in less then a week that it makes the game easier to swallow. If you like this game, you would LOVE TERA. They did everything this game tried to do but did it 10x better. Anyways, its a fun little clunky "MMO" to play if you want to waste some time, nothing more. I enjoy it for what it is none the less.

I thought the char creation was pretty remarkable.

I mean you have the silly background stuff. where you can pick gods, hometowns, and various origin stories. Then add your own little blurb.

The bodies, etc. nothing major sure.
But if you do mess with the head and body controls it can get crazy.
Nail length for females, not sure if male too.
hell crank waist depth up and you can make a female that looks pregnant. its kindof funny.
