Funny you should say this. I just got an email today that it is going up to $5 a month. Should definitely go in the rustled thread. Prime is the only service I pay for besides Crunchyroll/HiDive, and if it weren't for the free shipping I use all the time, I would have fucking dropped them and pirated it just like everything else. I'm tempted to cancel the $5, but then I'll never use the video service at all, which kind of seems like a waste.

yeah I saw today it's going up again. Because of course it is , fuck you that's why.

Youtube TV , which I'm paying $83 fucking a month for now shows ads when you pause the show you are watching. They have figured out a way to serve ads when you pause to go take a piss!

Torrents/plex is the way. When I do watch youtube with ads now, it's so jarring. Fuck that.

Advertisements ruin everything.
Privacy was never about price, it is about convenience. While for those that don’t know how to pirate sitting through ads is more convenient, for the savvy sailor the high seas is the way to go.
