Dr. Jones also added that initial concerns about Romo?s surgically repaired back were allayed when he saw the X-rays.
?We knew there were no structural issues when they gave him the X-rays,? Jones said. ?I very concerned [by] the fact that he laid there as long as he laid there. After we looked at the play and saw that was a knee kind of to the side of the back, then we felt better about it.

Look at some of the individual stats from last nights game, and then recall the parade of stalled drives and face-slapping mistakes, and wonder.. wtf?
It's amusing how Dallas's o-line falls over dead in pass rush but Murray busts out 160+. Romo spends the game running this way <--- while Murray runs over everyone that way -----> Fantastic downfield blocking? Witten worthy of all his praise?
And McCoy was absolutely Smith-rific with that 25-30 300 yard 0 TD performance.
Just an odd game.

No line picks up those sell out blitzs Washington was using, that shit is on romo for not seeing it and getting rid of it fast. Blitz 7 guys vs Denver and one will be running free too, manning will just see it and get rid of the ball within like 3 seconds of the snap.

Those all out blitzes get shit on by a good running scheme. They were GETTING shit on by a good running scheme even. I swear the cowboys have the most heart-attack inducingly stupid offense in the league sometimes. It's been less so this year until now. Romo can be a really good QB technically, but his decision making at times makes me puke.

That's a good point - Murray's success could be due to every opposing team having the same game plan of "just make Romo fuck up"

Garret's scheme has never been good about making those sellout blitzes pay. That's the problem with a timing based passing game. You'll notice that Romo's best plays of the year have largely been when the play breaks down and he's forced to improvise. That said, no idea why they didn't just try and shove Murrey down their throats in Overtime especially since everyone knew they'd be throwing those sellout blitzes every chance they got. You're not going to punt, as Gruden so eloquently put, so just run it.

albeit Demarco Murray and Adrian Petersen will beat you, they're that good. What other RB in the league can do that though? I can't think of one other current RB that can win a game for a team
