Yeah, not sure what you're talking about. Cam had an amazing half of a rookie season, a pretty above average sophomore slump, and a damn good third year.

He's really a lot like Roethlisberger but less rapey.

He's overthrowing everywhere tonight. That should have been a TD to Benjamin. And easy TD.

Phil Simms is so horrible. I love when he starts in with one of his play "insights", the play happens, and he's completely wrong.

I'm cleaning out a bunch of stuff before switching laptops and found this piece of genius I made for the FoH thread a few years ago.

Cowboys O-line is definitely better at moving forward for Run blocking than blitz pickup. Linehan didn't do them any favors though, didn't look like he made any adjustments. Hopefully they have a better plan for 3rd down all out blitz this week.
The dallas oline is absolutely amazing at turning people and opening gaps. I think murray is a solid rb, but nothing amazing. He'd get the label of being pretty good from me if he didn't cough up the ball so fucking much. If we had an actually good RB our running attack would be downright terrifying. Our recipe is very strong in the current NFL if you follow it. It was just upsetting to see our team so scared of the redskins that we decided to change the whole plan to match them. It was bad football, and I really hope they learned from their mistakes.

People weren't hazing the cowboys on the radio as hard as i expected this week. Unfortunately I think our coaches could be pretty willfully ignorant of why that game went down the shitter. I got my 8-8 hat ready, but I'll reserve judgement of this team until we see if they learned in sunday's game. For now I still got my superbowl or bust hat on.

Why on earth would they let Romo play vs the most blitz happy team in the NFL when they don't have tackles?

Start Weeden. Jesus.

Of his starting linemen last night 2/5 are backups and 1/5 is an undrafted rookie and another was on the injury report so he's playing through some kind of injury. It looked like the saints defense was able to pressure cam early and then he just had no confidence in his line the rest of the night hurrying throws he didn't need to.

Stick Cam on the 49ers or Eagles and he would have a Ring. He is never going to5 be able to leave Carolina. Too much money.

Arizona blitzes more than any other team, but they haven't been as successful when doing it as teams who do it less. They have less sacks than the Cowboys.

I'd still start Weeden this week and next, give Romo 3 weeks to heal for the division games coming up.

They are only allowing 77 rush yards per game, and haven't allowed a 100 yard rusher since October of last year - let's see if the Cowboys/Murray can change that - I think that will decide the outcome of the game.

yes please continue to abuse your most productive member of the offense.

they're going to get to the post season with a perfectly healthy Romo and a completely broken Murray

I think more than anything the Cowboys have shown they can run on anyone they want to. I certainly hope that's the game plan this week with the way Arizona plays defense. That said, with Martin out who knows. Bernadeau knows the scheme but Martin has been a very clear upgrade, despite being a rookie. I think it'll be a close game with Arizona pulling one out at the end. Bounce back with Jacksonville before the bye. Then start the run of 3 games in ten days after that. Giants is a tossup, like always. I think they beat Philly, and who knows with Chicago. I'll give them 3 wins over the next five games, putting them at 9 on the year with three games left.

Dependent on Romo's health of course. Oye. Sundays (and a couple of Thursdays) are going to be stressful for a bit.

I think Romoshouldbe done for the year, but they'll most likely throw him in there injured and he'll end up a cripple by age 50.

As a Redskins fan, I hope Romo plays for another 4 or 5 years. In reality though, the Cowboys would be much better served with looking for a replacement QB. I pretty much said that this offseason though, that Dallas needed to be grooming their replacement QB now (as in, draft a QB in 2014). Weeden isn't the answer because even if he's good, he's too old to be worthwhile.

yes because there's a plethora of QBs out there ANYWHERE near Romo's level.

If there are 8 billion people on the planet, like it or not Romo is better than 7,999,999,985 of them at throwing footballs.

There is no suitable replacement outside of the draft.

Rodgers held Favre's clipboard for what, 4 years before he started? I think that was an excellent decision in retrospect. Bears and Cowboys should both be already looking to groom their future quarterbacks.

I'm sure they will, but the bigger issue this year was rebuilding that O line. Not to mention we still have defensive problems even tho it's hard to tell this year.
