Dude can't read a coverage to save his life.Phil Simms is so horrible. I love when he starts in with one of his play "insights", the play happens, and he's completely wrong.
The dallas oline is absolutely amazing at turning people and opening gaps. I think murray is a solid rb, but nothing amazing. He'd get the label of being pretty good from me if he didn't cough up the ball so fucking much. If we had an actually good RB our running attack would be downright terrifying. Our recipe is very strong in the current NFL if you follow it. It was just upsetting to see our team so scared of the redskins that we decided to change the whole plan to match them. It was bad football, and I really hope they learned from their mistakes.Cowboys O-line is definitely better at moving forward for Run blocking than blitz pickup. Linehan didn't do them any favors though, didn't look like he made any adjustments. Hopefully they have a better plan for 3rd down all out blitz this week.
Of his starting linemen last night 2/5 are backups and 1/5 is an undrafted rookie and another was on the injury report so he's playing through some kind of injury. It looked like the saints defense was able to pressure cam early and then he just had no confidence in his line the rest of the night hurrying throws he didn't need to.He's overthrowing everywhere tonight. That should have been a TD to Benjamin. And easy TD.
Arizona blitzes more than any other team, but they haven't been as successful when doing it as teams who do it less. They have less sacks than the Cowboys. Why on earth would they let Romo play vs the most blitz happy team in the NFL when they don't have tackles?
Start Weeden. Jesus.
yes please continue to abuse your most productive member of the offense.they are only allowing 77 rush yards per game, and haven't allowed a 100 yard rusher since October of last year - let's see if the Cowboys/Murraycan change that - I think that will decide the outcome of the game.
yes because there's a plethora of QBs out there ANYWHERE near Romo's level.the Cowboys would be much better served with looking for a replacement QB
Rodgers held Favre's clipboard for what, 4 years before he started? I think that was an excellent decision in retrospect. Bears and Cowboys should both be already looking to groom their future quarterbacks.I think Romoshouldbe done for the year, but they'll most likely throw him in there injured and he'll end up a cripple by age 50.
As a Redskins fan, I hope Romo plays for another 4 or 5 years. In reality though, the Cowboys would be much better served with looking for a replacement QB. I pretty much said that this offseason though, that Dallas needed to be grooming their replacement QB now (as in, draft a QB in 2014). Weeden isn't the answer because even if he's good, he's too old to be worthwhile.
