Whats your beef with Emery? Emery is a solid GM, I think.

If this is over the Cutler contract, there was basically no one else available and Cutler did look decent enough in previous seasons.

His drafts have been a joke sans Long and Jeffrey and his free agent signings haven't been much better. I'd say clean house but again Ms. Halas and the rest of her brood have to live off the Bears income so that's not happening.

They didn't need to make the deal though Broaysar. They could have just franchised him for a year or two for a slightly bigger money hit up front and went on their merry way to finding someone who can actually be what Jay was supposed to be.
