I was saying he looked good in the pre-season. Not trying to throw too much hyperbole out after one game against a terrible defense, but Hyde looking like basically a more explosive version of Gore. Hyde looked good in pass protection as well, as a matter of fact, a hell of a lot better than most the offensive line. I think it is safe to say Gore is done in SF after this season, if not before. Also we haven't even seen Latimore yet who I think was an even bigger steal than Hyde. This running back Carlos Hyde is pretty good.
Bears losing to Bills was a bigger surprise than Dolphins beating a Patriots team that is a shadow of its former self.Really late but damn!!! Look at those Dolphins stomp some Brady ass!! Then look at ESPN, etc not even talk about it. Hell, the halftime show on NBC, the surprise game is the shitty Bears losing? You mean the 8-8 guys from last year losing to 6-10 Bills. Not nearly surprising as the Pats who haven't lost game 1 in a decade...homer talk over now.
Dolphins have completely new OL, and the Pats are considered a playoff staple. I agree they aren't quite as good but what exactly has ChiTown accomplished the past few with Cutler besides constantly being overrated? One playoff season? The Bills have an excellent defense as Chicago found out today. Maybe 8-8 this year again?Bears losing to Bills was a bigger surprise than Dolphins beating a Patriots team that is a shadow of its former self.
Bears QB. He stopped going by "Jay" like two years ago. Apparently he felt it was disrespectful since he was named after his father who was a veteran.Dumb question, but who is James Cutler?
Bills are a bottom of the barrel team and the Bears are a top 5 offense easily.Dolphins have completely new OL, and the Pats are considered a playoff staple. You've gone too far.the Bears are a top 5 offense easily.
He will always be smokin Jay Cutlerfucker the cat to me.Bears QB. He stopped going by "Jay" like two years ago. Apparently he felt it was disrespectful since he was named after his father who was a veteran.
Nope. Not that it matters, but did the refs just spot the Broncos 6 yards there? Offense isn't supposed to gain yardage from fumbling forward.
Rules_sl said:The distinction between a fumble and a muff should be kept in mind in considering rules about fumbles. A fumble is the loss of player possession of the ball. A muff is the touching of a loose ball by a player in an unsuccessful attempt to obtain possession.
A fumble may be advanced by any player on either team regardless of whether recovered before or after ball hits the ground.
A fumble that goes forward and out of bounds will return to the fumbling team at the spot of the fumble unless the ball goes out of bounds in the opponent's end zone. In this case, it is a touchback.
On a play from scrimmage, if an offensive player fumbles anywhere on the field during fourth down, only the fumbling player is permitted to recover and/or advance the ball. If any player fumbles after the two-minute warning in a half, only the fumbling player is permitted to recover and/or advance the ball. If recovered by any other offensive player, the ball is dead at the spot of the fumble unless it is recovered behind the spot of the fumble. In that case, the ball is dead at the spot of recovery. Any defensive player may recover and/or advance any fumble at any time.
A muffed hand-to-hand snap from center is treated as a fumble.
