Just wondering if in Gillette Stadium, any awards area or wall of fame section (or something similar) still listed Aaron Hernandez as part of a winning Super Bowl team or was his name stricken from record similar to how the WWF removed all mention of Chris Benoit after that tragedy? I remember the Patriots dropping him after his arrest many years back, but did they go all out and banish his name from record?

Don't know why this thought came to mind just now.

NE lost the only Super Bowl they went to with Hernandez.

And no, I'm pretty sure that real sports teams/leagues can't erase someone the way that the WWE did with Benoit.

The fact that he was, in effect, not found guilty in a criminal trial will have no effect on a civil trial

A conviction in a criminal trial is admissible as evidence in a civil trial, so yeah having his criminal conviction vacated would theoretically be a pretty huge deal in civil court.

I mean he'll undoubtedly still lose in civil court even without a criminal conviction for the complaint, but I doubt his estate has anything left anyway.

Nah. In fact, I'm hoping they do something in his memory. Maybe partner up with big brothers / big sisters to prevent the next crop of aaron hernandezes from throwing their lives way too. it would be a nice gesture.

Patriots 6-10. Brady misses his friend more than anyone thinks.

Steelers schedule is one of the easiest minus a game or two like the Patriots.

Minus GB should run over the NFC North, 11-5 at worst imo. Then we can lose for the second time next year to the Patriots in the playoffs!

Skins schedule is weird. Early bye, playing Dallas twice in the middle, hosting Giants on Thanksgiving night. Get to go see McVay in LA Week 2. Finish up against the Giants again. Need to see draft and how our D is going to look before I can even guess what we'll go this year.

Right, but they can't say he was found not guilty in the criminal trial like Uber was alluding to.

I never said he was found not guilty, I was just saying his guilty verdict is vacated and he is innocent in the eyes of the court.

Also Pats 19-0.

Don't even really care enough to look too deeply into the Bengals schedule. Is there a limit to compensation picks? FA mass exodus this year and I think they've only signed one FA. At least AJ should provide some good highlights.
