NFL 2019 Season: It's Tricky!

It would be a non story if the entire thing was Garrett rips off helmet then there’s a small scrum. Maybe a few small fines and short suspensions for punches thrown and people coming off the bench. Garrett would probably even avoid suspension, or at worst 1 game, given that video shows Rudolph ‘started it’. But that isn’t what happened. The helmet swing at a player with no helmet on is a huge deal and changes the entire context.

If you don’t think an NFL player (most of which are incredibly large and strong human beings) can do serious damage swinging one of those helmets at an unprotected head (even while being pushed by 2 other people) then I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe you can be the dummy in the sports science episode that takes the helmet to the skull.

Scrawny 12 year old bullies a 12 year old who is more than twice his size and gets bodyslammed, forum rejoices and praises the violence. More recently, tall faggot is getting insulted by guy much smaller than him and smacks the shit out of him multiple times, forum rejoices and praises the violence. Most recently, Steelers are being sore losers and getting a bit frisky and get helmet bopped by Browns player then swarm the helmet bopper and throw punches and kick him in the head while he's on the ground, forum condemns the violence by the helmet bopper but cheers for the Kang-nog tactics used by Steelers players.

Just FoH things...

Sometimes you post interesting and intelligent things. This isn’t one of them.

You dudes are crazy. A guy swinging a helmet at a dudes head is exactly the same as a guy putting his hands on another dude's helmet after getting hit late.

This. People claiming Rudolph started it are on crack. If Garrett just roles off him/lets go after a clean QB hit after ball is already gone, nothing else happens and it's a total nothing burger.

Vontez Burfect called, as he has some free time due to his 12 game suspension this year he would like to know if you even watch football.

oh shit, I forgot about him completely. but it's understandable, I think, him playing/played for the Raiders

No no no you all have it wrong. Garret was just trying to put Randolph's helmet back on, which is why it hit the way it did....he just miss aimed..

Seriously though. 6 games is fine If the guy learned his lesson.

In case anyone wants to watch the Kap workout. Apparently they moved it because the NFL said no media and wouldn't allow Kap's team to tape also. Which seems odd

Semi curious who they got running routes for him to throw to. Wonder if they are guys trying to get a little tape out there for themselves.

I don't understand the Kaeperbro thing? Why is the NFL going out their way to be an annoyance to it's own workout for him?

I don't get the point of this, I'm fairly sure if you put Brett Favre out there right now he'd look at least this good in no pads throwing to uncovered dudes in no pads.

It was about extinguishing the second lawsuit that Kaepernick could file for ongoing collusion plus retaliation against him for his first grievance that was settled for a payment reportedly between $1 million and $10 million.

That’s the inescapable conclusion from the assertion, as made by Kaepernick’s lawyer and Kaepernick’s agent, that the NFL demanded that he sign a broad waiver, including a waiver of potential employment claims.

It was all about covering there ass.

With the way the NFL is fucking around with this workout, Kaepernick could almost have a claim that they're trying to set it up to fail.

You can say Colin is the asshole for moving it but the NFL is clearly fucking about. A non-standard employment waiver and the barring of recording that was revealed only today is pretty telling, imo.

The no recording is bizarre. Or were the teams allowed to record it?
