Gotta keep winning to keep pace at top of Metro.
Pretty nerve wracking, I forgot what this felt like. Keep waiting for the other shoe to drop for the Rangers, just hoping we can keep stacking these points and creating some space for whenever it does.

Sunday should be interesting for you guys, Canes seem pretty unstoppable. Should be a good game.

After Canes we get Florida again, too. Not sure how we're doing this with the lineups we're having to throw out there every night, either. Ovechkin/Kuznetsov/Wilson have really been hard carrying the offense. Also seems like while our prospect pool isn't deep, the ones we were hoping to be excited about have some game.

Should be good, I expect PNC to have a decent crowd despite the early afternoon start. I was getting a little concerned since Canes had been in somewhat of a scoring drought on this road trip (despite still winning) but they made up for it somewhat yesterday against Philly. Also for all the moves made in the offseason (some questionable), the biggest surprise so far has been Tony D. Guy can make some serious passes with perfect setups to the big guns (especially Aho).

I doubt anyone in NY is surprised. Offense was never a question for Tony D. Gonna be interesting to see who the highest bidder is after this contract. I think once he gets locked up long term again, we'll start to see his previous behavior re-surface though I hope i'm wrong because I don't hate the guy.

It's interesting because if we didn't buy him out, Fox probably doesn't eat on PP1 and win the Norris. OTOH, his contract might be a few million less. All things happen for a reason though, miss Tony's offense but our D pipeline is stocked.

There's no way this holds up, but it's just insanity. It helps that Wilson and Kuznetsov are both playing great so they're all wracking up the points right now, but to even be breathing the same air right now as the 2 kids in Edmonton in the Art Ross race is crazytown.

Tony D is one hell of a player for sure. Abs is making the most of his decisions right now. He sure made not signing Hamilton look like a wise decision. I wonder what he’s gonna ask for this summer with how good he’s been so far.

Two shut out streak for Vassy. Love to see the big cat get his dues.

Secondary lines are coming on line for Tampa finally. Some great potential there. Corey Perry finally getting his first goal. Ross Colton looks like a proper top 6 and ABB is really stepping up again (how did we get this kid back from Kraken again?)

Biggest improvement has to be Joseph. We can really take advantage of his speed as long as he keeps his puck control good and his hockey senses are improving. His shot certainly seems to have improved.

Still don't know how I feel about a Frenchman scoring
Reminder that french fries came from southern Belgium where they merely speak French. If they are in America playing hockey you don't have to feel guilty at all.

This is so great.
If Brad Marchand really wanted some goodwill, they could do a charity dunk tank where rich people could throw hockey gloves at the tank for $5k. It may just end world hunger. Maybe one shift for him and one for Tom Wilson.

Wilson should generate less than Marchand by default, though. Speaking of Wilson, 22 points in 22 games not too shabby a start to the year.

Can't believe how our top line and the Hershey Bears continue to get the job done against the league's best.

Was a good game almost felt like a playoff game. I like how the Canes fought back to tie but once again (like last year), penalties wind up being the deciding factor toward the end of the game. I don't think we play the Caps again until March which is weird.

That's actually really weird. Strange scheduling this year.
