They have had so much talent for years. They aren't managed or coached well. I guess the change in goaltending is a positive, so we will see if there will be more leafs in the second round of playoffs than submarines in the sky this year.

Was watching that game live because I'm Blackhawks fan and a masochist I guess. In other news Kirby Dach on the 10 day IL with 2 broken ankles.

Black Hawks played really well from start of the second through the third periods. I was concerned near the end of the third the Avs were going to give up another one, Hawks were forechecking relentlessly and had a few good opportunities. Goal to tie was a bit of a fluke if anything, and that 3 on 3 style OT just favored the Avalanche too much.

I dont know how there isnt more steam behind the burn it down mentality in Edmonton. I keep praying for some drama and not getting any!

Not sure it can get much worse for them. Skid they are on is pretty much a KO to their season, and now to lose McDavid, like getting kicked in the nuts while KOd.
