There's a part of my that just dislikes Edmonton (they've been a nemesis for Dallas forever it feels like).
There's also a part of me that truly enjoys the angst and suffering of the "Traditional Hockey Purists" who seem to absolutely HATE it when a team that's "too far south" wins a cup.....

Yup. Oh yeah the Panthers are 0-7 in the playoffs at home when a Miami Dolphins player bangs the drum at the start of the game. If a Dolphins player is banging the drum at the start of game 6 I am going to lose my shit.
Wish there wasn't two full days between games though. You could see Edmonton was hurting more than Florida on short rest.

A bit of a wake-up call when you realize that while you might've been a theoretical competitor, you're still a ways off.
Also, so much for Marchand being washed. Absolute animal tonight, and had for so cheap at the deadline.

Edmonton hasn't invested in defense enough. They got here by overwhelming opponents with an amazing offense.
They need to get a good goalie and a new defensive system. 37 year old Brad Marchand getting 2 goals on rush chances and beating a lot younger defenseman both times is glaring.
