Does it run well on switch 2? Performance is ass on the deck

I impulse bought it anyway but I watched this to get an idea

Seems like a pretty good port overall, 30fps quality/40fps performance mode. DLC area dips a bit under that at times. Handheld seems like it runs a bit better due to VRR display.

I don't have a deck but I did get this on Switch. It runs fine docked. Haven't played much in handheld but haven't had any problems with it. I'm impressed they were able to port the game to the switch TBH. Then again, Witcher 3 on switch 1 was not bad either.

Normally I'd cheer on someone keeping their play hours low, but buying 19 games and playing them all for a grand total of one day just comes off like "hi I like to waste money"

i think the only game i bought was donkey kang (and pack in mario kart), everything else has just been trying old switch 1 games for an hour, going "yup... its faster..." and trying something else.

also trying all the nintendo switch online games and realizing playing 25 year old games in 2026 isn't that fun if you don't have any nostalgia for them

Waste of a system without games and even then MP4 was a bust. PC and Steamdeck destroys this thing.

Dust has a new collection spot with whoever bought one. Unless you are 5 years old and in a car for a long drive.

its worked out well for my 4 and 7 year old. they play tons of games for lots of time. though some games i buy and they barely touch. it's real hit or miss. anything in the persuit of keeping them from playing cel phone games which my wife showed them one day against my wishes!

you need to buy a 1970s car and start teaching them how to change the oil and cut themselves on hard metal edges

I still have my Switch 1 and the Switch 2, but Switch 1 looks so small now when I compare them. I know I can play it on the TV but my son is usually hogging it for his PS5 so I've gotten used to playing it handheld. I like my Switch 2 but yeah not many games exclusive to it for now.
